Tekkie Town a no go zone - Misleading
Tekkie Town's communication is appalling. I returned a tekkie online on the 12th if December 2025. After a lengthy delay, I received my returned notification and an email stating my refund would be processed within 5-10 days. Waiting 15 days, I called and was met with abruptness and an unrealistic 4-week refund timeline. Unacceptable. Do not shop at Tekkie Town online - you'll be asking for trouble.

Very poor service
I ordered sneakers for my daughter on 25/11/2025, it took them almost a month to deliver. On the 19th of December I called them to cancel the order, got a call from them telling me that they’re on their way to deliver my order. I informed them that I had cancelled the order. I’m now struggling to get my refund from them, evertime I call them they tell me that they still waiting for the item to be returned by their in-house courier. I will never use their services again because they are not reliable

Very poor service

Rude Tekkie town courier driver
Tekkie town has the worst courier service and very rude drivers i wouldn't advice anyone to order online from them, i ordered sneakers and the parcel was out for delivery 3 times then later it shows on the tracking fail to deliver. I gave my work address The driver called me on a Saturday morning i told him we close at 12.30 can he perhaps then drop it at my home address he refused to he told me to meet him somewhere i then told him i cant meet him somewhere... He started becoming rude and accusing me of forcing him to come to my home address i told him im not forcing him i was merely asking and he just carried on accusing me and he didn't even give me a chance to speak when i asked for his name he hung up on me...i am so upset and disappointed with this terrible service

Refund
I placed an order with them ,the size was too big . I then reorderd a size down . I went to the store to return the other order and I was given a runaround about my refund . I was told to do the return online which I did. I was told the driver will come to collect the order but didn’t come. I have been sending email to remind them but no one is answering me. I have few days left based on thier return policy . I need my refund back and come take your item. Your customer service is bad, very bad . You care about money coming in and not going out.

I will never ever recommend online shopping
I will never make a mistake of buying on tekkietown online, they are **** ,I bought 2 pairs of tikkies for my children on 18th of December.i waited and waited for delivery until I got tired .on the 31st of January I receive an email said my parcel had been delivered yet I received nothing.up until today ,my money is gone and they do not respond to my emails 😑

I will never make a mistake of buying on tekkietown online, they are **** ,I bought 2 pairs of tikkies for my children on 18th of December.i waited and waited for delivery until I got tired .on the 31st of January I receive an email said my parcel had been delivered yet I received nothing.up until today ,my money is gone and they do not respond to my emails 😑

Unprofessional service and unnecessary racial remarks
Unprofessional service and unnecessary racial remarks towards clients at the Menlyn branch. All 3 staff members. Unfortunately we did complete the sale with them.

Discriminate against disabled children
No branch of Tekkie Town will ever see me or my family again. We went to TekkieTown, Greenacres, Port Elizabeth in search for shoes for our disabled daughter. Obviously, she cannot walk so we pushed her in a trolley. We were greeted with hositily and the staff demanded us to leave the trolley at the entrance. After telling the 1st staff member that our daughter is disabled, a second one came up and demanded us to leave the trolley at the entrance. By this time, I was already fuming and we decided to walk out and not buy from this store. The attitude of this store staff, has now caused that we will NEVER shop at TekkieTown EVER again. Not only did you loose a sale to Kingsmead, you have now also lost a customer.

Tekkie town pay back my money!!!!
In appalled by Tekkie town Woodmead and it's bad customer service. I purchased sneaker 16 December the amount was deducted but they said due to network issues it didn't go through. I gave them the sneakers and they said they'd refund me within a few days. It's been a week and no refund. I dearly with a guy names Mo***eng who I believe is the branch manager. I have to waste my airtime to call to get updates. I just need my money and I will never ever buy anything at Tekkie town. It was the first and Las time.
