Because it took so long to rebuild the holes they smashed, I'm only now noticing the worst of the problems -- too late to try for refund or reinstall. Other issues are I guess my fault for not carefully examining a sample of their product in advance. I put my trust in a glowing personal recommendation. 1. double-glazing is smudged on the inside -- no way to clean it! 2. corners of opening sections look melted/clipped off 3. other rough seams you could cut yourself on and not-quite-flat surfaces 4. frames come with protective tape, but nothing to protect the glass 5. after installation I found broken glass in my lawn and pieces of wall in my swimming pool (this can only have been deliberate -- pool is like 2m away from nearest window) 6. after installation i found grit stamped into my wooden floors (they had promised to bring cardboard to protect the floors, but didn't) 7. they cancelled / postponed the first installation at 5 p.m. the evening before 8. the day before the second installation date, they said I'd need "a handyman" there on the day 9. they only do the easy part of the job (they do hint at this right before you pay your deposit, but if you've no building experience you won't understand what you're in for). budget about R3000 extra per window for a bricklayer, a skimmer, a painter, and a cleaning crew to repair the damage. 10. the first sales lady measured my windows wrong 11. it took months of back and forth to get any kind of hints about whether side-opening or top-opening is cheaper, whether multiple panes or one single pain is cheaper, etc. 11. wow. ugliest window handles I have ever seen. maybe ok for a hospital or factory but not a residential home. again, stupid me for not getting a physical sample in advance PVC frames are war Double glazed windows are dirty on the inside - I put a lot of trust in these people after a glowing first-hand recommendation.

5/5/2021 Product review: (7years) The French doors and stacking doors continuously falter and create difficulty closing, with maximum upward effort pulling at the door handle the door will close, following the locking mechanism fails due to the unbalanced doors. The rubber seals around the windows and doors keep pulling out. The *****s used to install the window frames rust even if not exposed to the elements, the hinges of the windows are effected due to disintegrated *****s and creates a troublesome noise upon opening windows. The handles of the windows fail and physically turn 360 degrees windows can either no longer open or close. After sales alterations windows come with complete different handles that do not lock with a key and initial selling point no longer applicable. Based on their inferior manufactured window and door solution, one needs to service the windows and doors annually at an additional cost. Aftersales service: To request a maintenance team is a frustrating tedious occurrence at every interaction over the past 7 years, one struggles to get hold of a representative to take your call, when the quote eventually arrives, payment is requested upfront, then only a date will be considered. Services could take place anything from a month or more from initial call. In addition expect an unprofessional service team. Most importantly DO NOT post a poor Google review (Worst after sales service!) the wrath of the MD and founder will be unleashed upon you, he will phone the client personally @ 10:59, reprimand the client and make reference to the poor Google rating and put forward the following response “based on your review why should we assist you?” the fact that the client has been waiting for a quote and service date since 24/3/2021 is not relevant and “you can wait another two months, thank you and Goodbye”end call. Followed up by an office email @ 11:16 the client’s punishment for the poor Google review reflects continued reprimand of MD: “Unfortunately we are fully booked for the next few months. We will not be able to assist you at this time.” Please refer to: www.rehau.com authorised partner uPVC window systems, they offer other reputable friendly manufacturers and helpful installers of uPVC windows and doors.

The owner of the company came personally to my house to discuss the complaint. In the end it was just a problem of miscommunication between us. All sorted . Happy :-)

Spent more than 80k for new windows for my house.
One of the doors measurements were taken incorrectly, and door is exposed to rain. Due to the water damage, the door has become grey and full of grey stripes. I now have to pay out of my own pocket a contractor who can build a cover for the door.
TEVA will not take responsibility, and sent three times their technicians who did absolutely nothing, and then refused to fix the problem. Had to call them for three months every single week, without some sort of reply. In the end gave me ridiculous excuses not to fix the problem and passed the buck.
Don't use them, if you have problems they will leave you standing. For the amount of money you spend, you would expect some sort of customer service, but forget about it.
