No hidden fees they say?
I contacted this business after hours via WhatsApp about a leaking fridge. They said they could help at 9am, with a R250 call-out fee. Their website looked professional and promised no hidden fees — what a joke. They arrived two hours late, spent 10 minutes replacing a tiny valve no bigger than a thumbnail… and charged R2,750. Yes, Two Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Rands for 10 minutes of work. Daylight *******. To top it off, they refused to leave until the EFT cleared, as if I might try to escape with my house. Avoid at all costs.

APPLIANCE DOCTOR : BEWARE
NOT RECOMMENDED The Technician (Mike) arrived and partly fixed the Fridge. He undertook to return. then said Appliance Doctor was ordering a part. That was the last we heard of him. Appliance Doctor have a phone number which is not answered and they do not respond to emails. Very slick avoidance from website to technician

NOT RECOMMENDED The Technician (Mike) arrived and partly fixed the Fridge. He undertook to return. then said Appliance Doctor was ordering a part. That was the last we heard of him. Bad workmanship, shoddy technicians, bad customer service.
I would not even give them a 1 star rating. For a start they never arrived when they said they would. They assured me they know how to fix washing machines. They came the first time, and assured me it was fixed. Replaced the pump. 3 weeks later it started the trouble again. They again didn't arrive, when they said they would, and when they did they told me it was now a different problem, which I then paid again for. 2 weeks after that same problem. They sent someone out, who said some rubbish about the machine needing a rubber under the legs. I got another technician in, who told me they had no idea what they were doing and had installed the wrong pump into the machine. Which would never have worked, hense the problem. Besides for bad customer service, not responding to calls or arriving on time, they almost ******ed up my machine. Would never recommend them.

Claim to repair your machine but steal your money
A terrible service from the Appliance doctor. I contacted them to fix my washing machine on the 20th December after it was displaying an F08 error. I explained to the technician that arrived on the 22nd that it was a heat element error. He changed the pump, quoted me for the pump. Then left to fetch a heat element. He then returned to “replace” the heat element. Once finished he had now added the heat element to the invoice without quoting. I said ok to pay and promptly paid IN FULL R3300. I asked him if the machine was in working order and working 100% fine he confirmed this. My stupidity. After he left I did a load of washing the error reappeared. I contacted him immediately. He said to restart it. I did and he said he would send a technician. Here I am on the 28th and the washing machine is still not working. I have sent him photos of the error twice a day to a repair se this morning of I need to wait until next week. I have paid this company in full and they are unwilling to assist. They claim to repair your machines, which is a lie and take your money. Do not use this company they are not honest.
