So when you enter there you get welcomed with a smile and show you where your seats are then the waiter come and introduce them selves with your menu then they have this starter on the house warm fresh rolls with butter you give your order you we did wait a while because we ordered two platters but it was worth it because it was so delicious everything was nice it's so cozy so I would recommend that place for date night and family night

Worst meal ever, I could smell the Calamari when our food arrived and the calamari tasted bad, my side salad was old and limp, the waiter or manager did not ask about our meal and we took it up with the waiter who in turn spoke to the manager who was not interested. Never Again

On the 15th July 2017 between 6pm-8pm my partner and I went to the restaurant in Lynnwood to get supper (take away). It was our first time and DEFINITELY THE LAST TIME eating from there. My partner ordered rice and wings, when we got home as I was dishing up the food I realised that the rice was OFF...ROTTEN. They let us leave with rotten rice, they served us rotten rice. When we called the manager had no sense of urgency what so ever. He did not care about the rotten rice they had served us. I am disgusted by this place and their food. We did not get that food on credit or steal it, we bought it cash and yet we were ill-treated. Money wasted on this disgusting restaurant. Definitely not going back would not even recommend it to my biggest enemy

Disgusted Customer

We went to this restaurant last night (not our first time). The service overall was good, our waiter did his best. I, unfortunately, made the mistake of ordering the prawn curry. When it arrived, I had to look for the prawns, when I finally found them between the heaps of carrots and the brown type of sauce (definetly not curry!), there they were: 8 very tiny prawns, with tails still intact and the taste was horrible to say the least. I complained to the waiter about it and he said it says on the menu 8 prawns only. When I checked the menu: no mention of 8 prawns only! When I left for the bathroom, one of the managers came to ask my husband if everything was ok. My husband then told him about the prawn curry. My husband mentioned that his food was ok. The manager' response? "At least one of you is happy with the food, but thank you for the feedback about the curry." Really?????? This restaurant used to be very nice, but not anymore.........

My Fiance took us for lunch to The Famous Fishoek, what an absolute disgrace!!! First we were told that they couldn't grill anything because they were out of gas...didn\t know we had a gas shortage. Then my fiances fried kingklip arrives with an extra piece of protein with it...the undesirable type...a fly...fried into his piece of fish...he sent it back

Went to the famous Fishoek at Lynnwood Bridge for my son's birthday. What an absolute disgrace. My wife ordered a drink (they didn't have it), she changed the order and then they came to tell us they would make a plan (to late methinks). She ordered sole, they didn't have any. My son discussed this with the Manager who indicated that they would make a plan (not sure what plan and where he would get sole). We order, our food arrives, my wife's food also arrives without sole - this after an hour's wait. The Manager ducks and dives and eventually tells me SORRY - what a liar about the plan. Spoiled the whole evening and we will never go there again. The two platters were poorly presented and looked old and unappetizing - probably my punishment for daring to complain in the first place.
