I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I received at The Hyde Hotel on March 15, 2025, at 14:30.
I had made a reservation for seven people using WikiDeals vouchers, which had been confirmed in advance. However, upon arrival, the server informed me that she could not assist with the deals and only accepted two of them. When I questioned this, she responded in a loud and unprofessional manner, making me feel embarrassed in front of other guests. Despite my request to speak with the manager, she claimed to be the supervisor and refused to escalate my concern.
Eventually, I had to find the manager myself, who instructed her to assist me. At that point, she falsely stated that I had not informed her about all seven deals, despite having taken the vouchers from me earlier. This entire interaction was not only frustrating but also unacceptable in terms of customer service. Additionally, had I been informed in advance that bookings with multiple vouchers were not allowed, I would have made alternative arrangements.
I am extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by your staff. I expect better service from an establishment of your reputation. I would appreciate a response regarding how this issue will be addressed to prevent similar experiences for future guests.
