I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I received at The Hyde Hotel on March 15, 2025, at 14:30. I had made a reservation for seven people using WikiDeals vouchers, which had been confirmed in advance. However, upon arrival, the server informed me that she could not assist with the deals and only accepted two of them. When I questioned this, she responded in a loud and unprofessional manner, making me feel embarrassed in front of other guests. Despite my request to speak with the manager, she claimed to be the supervisor and refused to escalate my concern. Eventually, I had to find the manager myself, who instructed her to assist me. At that point, she falsely stated that I had not informed her about all seven deals, despite having taken the vouchers from me earlier. This entire interaction was not only frustrating but also unacceptable in terms of customer service. Additionally, had I been informed in advance that bookings with multiple vouchers were not allowed, I would have made alternative arrangements. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by your staff. I expect better service from an establishment of your reputation. I would appreciate a response regarding how this issue will be addressed to prevent similar experiences for future guests. Looking forward to your prompt feedback.

I purchased 1 snoek and media Chips for R79.00 on the 19th June 2024 @ 10:31 in N1 City mall in Goodwood, Cape town. I ate fish and I vomited and had an allergic reaction. The fish was old and over cooked. I went to the shop and requested my money back. The supervisor (Angie) who contacted me was very unprofessional. I told her there is something wrong with the fish but she told me it is only over cooked. I explained to her that the fish expired or something because I normally purchase there and never had such a problem. She told me the fish did not expire and I asked her then why did i vomit and had an allergic reaction and she said she did not know. She also refused to listen to me and over-talk me. I told her I am not going to argue with her and I disconnected the call.
I collect the order and I am unhappy with the food. The chips were old and cold. It was yesterday's food chips and the wings were small and old. You can see a day old food. KFC food was disgusting and old. How can you give your customers yesterday's chips because the shop just opened. I purchase food via uber eats this morning and collect at 09h44 at KFC N1 City, Cape town
Regarding my MTN upgrade. I contact the MTN call center and also submit an online electronic application. I also contact the call center numerous times whereby the call center stating they will phone me back in 48 hours and I am still waiting. I submit a application on the 17 November but did not get any reply or response. Also sent follow up emails to customer care without any response. Reference number: 72101157 and 72100897
Worst electrical shop ever. My mother purchase a washing machine and is still paying and also under guarantee. The washing machine broke twice with the same issue but they are unable to fix it. They collect the washing machine twice but the issue still persist. The call center also phone and I told them we are still unable to use the machine because it only wash the first load.
