Congratulations to the team at the Amanzimtoti Ink Drop branch for great service. In September I left my yellow HP laser printer cartridge with them to be refilled. Unfortunately, when I started using it everything printed was overpowered with yellow. (example - blue sky turned out green) When I queried the problem, it was suggested that a likely cause could be another cartridge had run low causing the yellow to become too prominent. On checking I did find that the cyan was rather low so had it refilled as well, unfortunately the problem was not resolved. I was then forced to purchase originals and everything worked perfectly. I returned to the Amanzimtoti branch with prints from the two refilled cartridges plus prints from the original new cartridges. They were extremely helpful, friendly and apologetic and took the two refilled cartridges from me promising to send them back to the factory for testing and promised me a full refund on my purchase. Well within the week I had a call from them stating that a problem had been found and the promised refund was deposited into my account almost immediately after the call. WELL DONE and thank you.

Today 20th of February 2021 I went to The Ink drop in St John's Checkers centre. The opening time of the store is 9am. We stood waiting outside for the store to open. The employee of the store arrived at 8.58am and went into the store closing the door behind her. We stood by the door waiting for her to open as it was 9am. She walked out the door and closed it. We asked her why she was not opening only to be told it opens at 9 which it already was 9am. She walked off into checkers with her card in hand and went to do her business while 2 customers were waiting. Well the store lost out on over R2000 for HP cartridges. I was most annoyed. She blatantly just ignored us and walked off. I tried phoning Samantha the store manager but she does not work Saturdays. I will most definitely not be supporting this shop anymore.

I have been purchasing printer cartridges from this outlet for the last four years. During this time I have always had one cartridge in the printer and another new one on standby. Today my cartridge ran out and I inserted the new cartridge from the box. This cartridge leaked all over my computer and any paper going through. I went to the outlet to ask for a replacement. The sales person commented not the mess in the package from the clearly leaking unit. When I asked for a replacement I was told that this would need to be sent away so they could see what was wrong with it before replacing it. The reason was that I had bought it in February! It very obviously has ink in it, it is clearly defective and yet I must now wait two weeks for this to be adjudicated. The reason? Because I am trying to be astute and not have to replace only once it runs out! This is a disgrace and they have lost my business....how can any company afford this in today's economy?
