STAY WELL CELAR - Elie was my agent for a property rental in Steyne City, we negotiated a 22k a month rental fee. All checks were passed after they requested the usual documentation, a credit check fee was paid.. My assistant spoke with Elie stating the owner has seen my income and based on this he will charge more at 24k per month as I can clearly afford more.. Extremely unprofessional.. The owner shouldn't even be allowed access to my personal finances. To my knowledge income proof is required for the real estate agency, in this case Landlords International is the real estate agent who can make an informed decision based on documentation provided. These guys clearly have no issues breaking the poppy act. The worst service I have ever received from a so real estate agent in Fourways, Sandton.

Engaging The Landlords International under Mr. Gumede’s leadership was a model of professionalism and efficiency. Mr. Gumede and his team assisted me seamlessly in securing and managing a residential rental property, combining clarity, precision, and consummate professionalism at every stage. Communications were prompt, guidance transparent, and every obligation met punctually, reflecting their ethos of integrity and reliability. They came through for me when I needed them most, transforming what could have been a stressful process into a smooth and reassuring experience. As a professional with discernment, I can confidently say they have earned my trust and respect and set a benchmark for exceptional property management. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Landlord’s International services.

I was rushed into viewing a property and pressured to pay a non-refundable application fee of R500 to “secure” it. The urgency and promises seemed convincing at first, but once the payment was made, all meaningful communication stopped. Despite multiple follow-ups, I received no updates, no lease agreement, and no confirmation of approval or rejection. It became clear that the property was never actually available to rent. I later discovered that others had experienced the same—being encouraged to pay the application fee with no intention from the agent or company to let the property out. This appears to be a deliberate **** to collect fees from unsuspecting applicants. I strongly advise others to be cautious and avoid engaging with this listing or agency. Transparency and integrity are essential in property dealings, and this experience was the exact opposite.
