The worst service, terrible communication and shady policies
This school is the absolute worst at communication and their lack of professionalism is unbelievable. We just moved to Johannesburg and we enrolled our 4 year old daughter at Little Ashford Petervale, the entire process is online which is fine. I did an online application on the 10th January 2023 and I got an immediate response they they had accepted her to the school. They sent an invoice stating how much must be paid in order for her to start at the school. I then went on to book an appointment online to go to the school. Nobody called, not even an email. On the 13th January we made payment, even after payment nobody called, nothing!! I called the land line at the school countless time and it rings with no answer. At this point it's a Friday and our daughter is meant to start school on Monday, we don't even know what time the school starts, we haven't even seen the facilities except for the pictures on the website. I try the school land line a few times and still no answer, I then call the number for the accounts department and I speak to their accounts lady who confirms that they have received the payment and then drops a massive bomb that over and above the R7900 that we had already paid ( which is the admin fee and enrollement fees plus the fees for January which is R3800) we must pay another R7600 which is basically the fees for February and March in advance before she can start on Monday. I lost it as this had never been explained that way to me but how could it have since nobody called me any way and my online appointment request was ignored. After learving this information, we were so mind blown and frustrated as this was well out of our budget, we had just relocated. Even after the conversation with the accounts lady, still, NOBODY at the school called me. On the 16th January, the day my daughter was meant to start school, I didn't send her and I went to the school to find out what is going on and I was told tghe school is in between principals and all the communication that has been coming through, nobody at the school has access to its still going to the previous principal so as a result they don't know about my daughters case. at was at this moment when my husband and I decided to cancel the entire enrollment as this was absolute nonsense. We called the accounts department and cancelled and we were told we would forfiet a portion our payment as the admin and enrollement fee is non refundable, furthermore, the refund is payable in 30 days...I find this to be so unethical as they did absolutely nothing so honor their responsibilities to communicate and prepare for the arrival of my daughter at that school so they should refund the FULL amount as they did nothing but waste our time and create a major inconvience in our home My daughter is still not at school, We desperately need that refund ASAP in order to put her in another school. My husband and I both work during the day and have had to make temporary arrangements for someone to watch her at home, this costs money by the way ... and you guessed it, still, NOBODY FROM LITTLE ASHFORD HAS CALLED!!! The worst service ever, Do not send your children to that school!!

Horrible service and school!!
I have had the worst experience at this institution at Petervale, My child came home with black grubby hands almost daily, clothes went missing from his possession and when i asked for them i was always promised they would return it but never did. He would be climbing on monkey bars with his shoes unstrapped and no one to notice or concern for his safety. Temperatures were not checked upon kids entering during peak COVID periods and that caused my son to pick up 2 major illnesses from the school, because kids were coming in sick. It costs us hospital bills and almost his life. The principle got fired for releasing a child to an unauthorized person, and after all of this i decided to remove him from the school. I paid R13500 in deposit and fees for a month he did not attend. They refuse to respond to me to refund this! I had sent proof of communication to the principle voicing my concerns and wanted to be reimbursed just for the month he did not attend. The operations manager ignored my emails after requesting this. The clause states that if the school is at fault there is a reason to cancel. This school is absolutely shocking, and disgusting! it was my first school experience and it was a disaster. NEVER AGAIN

My son attended Fundamentals Florida which is a subsidiary of Little Ashford. He left the school two years ago. I gave notice as per the contract and paid all outstanding fees. Now two years later they are back and claim that there are fees of R2650 outstanding. I know it’s a pandemic but that’s not reason for them to fish for funds wherever they can get them. The WORST part is how their accounts department NEVER answers the phone. If the line doesn’t take you to an auto voicemail box the phone just rings and rings and no one picks up. No one even responds to Tweets. They are utterly useless. I AM SICK ANE TIRED! CALL ME!

To whom it may concern, The little Ashford Preschools are going down, teachers are leaving and parents are taking their children out. There are several problems, but the single most devastating and ongoing problem is Mbaya "Ronnie" Ntumba. He continues to have ***ual relationships with most of the teachers and Principals at each school while being married with two kids. There are countless teachers, which i have evidence of, who have and continue to sleep with Ronnie Ntumba. All the people who have spoken out about this or tried to progress this issue further have been victimised by Ronnie and have been retrenched by the Little Ashford Preschool. The fact that he is still employed at the Little Ashford Preschool is beyond me, and the fact that after all of the stuff that has been uncovered, nothing has been done about it. This just proves that The Little Ashford Preschool condones his actions as there has been no repercussions and he has not been held accountable for his actions. The fact that a MALE individual is allowed to be the HR of a preschool with only FEMALE employees and staff is a direct conflict of interest and there are bound to be immoral incidents such as those committed by Ronnie Ntumba. Maybe nothing has been done about Ronnie because he is a direct family member of the owner. He has been destroying lives and deserves the right punishment. Mbaya Ronnie Ntumba is a predator and he preys on young women employed at the Little Ashford Preschool. Especially the new comers. He is the sole reason on why the Little Ashford Preschools are going down, he is useless at his job and abuses his position of power to gain ***ual favours and relationships. He really does need to be stopped and the only way for that to happen, is for Ronnie to be retrenched. He will never change his ways, because even after getting caught several times, he has not learned his lesson. Ronnie continues to be perverted in nature and ***ually harasses the staff (both principals and teachers). There is a lawsuit waiting to happen as he is guilty of several ***ual harassment offences. All the people who have spoken out about this or tried to progress this issue further have been victimised by Ronnie and have been retrenched by the Little Ashford Preschool. The fact that he is still employed at the Little Ashford Preschool is beyond me, and the fact that after all of the stuff that has been uncovered, nothing has been done about it. This just proves that The Little Ashford Preschool condones his actions as there has been no repercussions and he has not been held accountable for his actions. The fact that a MALE individual is allowed to be the HR of a preschool with only FEMALE employees and staff is a direct conflict of interest and there are bound to be immoral incidents such as those committed by Ronnie Ntumba. Maybe nothing has been done about Ronnie because he is a direct family member of the owner. He has been destroying lives and deserves the right punishment. Mbaya Ronnie Ntumba is a predator and he preys on young women employed at the Little Ashford Preschool. Especially the new comers. He is the sole reason on why the Little Ashford Preschools are going down, he is useless at his job and abuses his position of power to gain ***ual favours and relationships. He really does need to be stopped and the only way for that to happen, is for Ronnie to be retrenched. He will never change his ways, because even after getting caught several times, he has not learned his lesson. Ronnie continues to be perverted in nature and ***ually harasses the staff (both principals and teachers). There is a lawsuit waiting to happen as he is guilty of several ***ual harassment offences. This is just to make you aware that parents do know what is going in the lap and the sick culture that the Little Ashford Preschool condones. This is a warning as it is only a matter of time before several media outlets for instance like Carte Blanche get a hold of this evidence and a case will be put forward, damaging both the reputations of Mbaya Ronnie Ntumba and The Little Ashford Preschools.
