Hello Peter, Am providing 1-business day’s notice (commencing today 25 September 2024) for acceptance of chargebacks by the merchants involved in my dispute. Failing which I will document on every available social media platform (in detail with evidence) my horror experience linked to service levels for processes involving travel administration and information sharing. Am unaware of any international travel standards Authority OR Ombudsman where I can lodge my complaint, short of taking legal action through a private firm, as a next step. Is there anyone out there who can advise me i.e. in the event there are no refunds received on the cut off date. Am currently in dispute via my personal bank Revolut UK for VISA / MASTERCARD pending chargebacks from the following merchants | * Etihad (x2 chargebacks) * Scandinavian Airlines (x3 chargebacks) * Norwegian Airlines (x1 chargeback) * EasyJet (x1 chargeback) * Finnair (x2 chargebacks)

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! If I could give them Zero, I would. I booked my daughter into this place as I didn't want them to drive at night. I made the booking on a booking site and paid for accomodation which was R855 for the night and said nothing about a R550 breakage fee which she had to pay, they told her it will be refuded in the morning when she leaves, no problem she paid it. She arrived around 7 and had to wait an hour for them to give her the keys after paying the breakage fee, The staff were very rude and very racist, especially the guy at the front desk. When she checked out in the morning, they said they couldn't give her cash as she had paid by card so they would reverse the amount and she would have it credited. It has been 4 (four) days and she has not received a credit. We have tried contacting The Norwegian Lodge for the refund but no-one answers their calls or returns messages, this is FRAUD, you cannot withhold some-one's deposit after promising to credit them. I want that deposit refunded ASAP. I will NEVER refer this establishment to ANYONE.

The business refused to refund us our hard earned money telling us about their policies. Now we tried to explain to them that its a mandate from the president then our calls are being dropped and they are no longer answering our calls.

0/10 - WORST HOTEL EVER ! If you're looking to have your money stolen and struggle for months to get it back - this is definitely the place to go. I made a booking on the 6th of May 2019 for December, but then had to cancel the booking on the 13th of May 2019 due to unforseen events. I litteraly had the booking for a week. I e-mailed them various times in regards with getting my deposit back. but I was only met with silence. Eventually on the 27th of May 2019 they responded and started handling the account. - OR so they promised. I was kept in the dark until the 11th of June 2019, sending multiple e-mails trying to get my money back. It is now the 19th of June 2019. Nearly two months from the date of cancellation and I have STILL not received any money at all. They are utterly pathetic. The are rude, incompetent, unprofessional, stupid, arrogant and lazy. Upon trying to contact the hotel itself via phone. Nobody answers. Please DO NOT use this hotel EVER! Complete waste of time.

I booked the 6 sleeper room on the 27-29th December. The issues we encountered went from bad to worse as listed below: - There was no wifi provided as advertised - The toilet door closed only when the chair was pushed behind it (photo attached) - The vent in the wall of the bedroom kept waking us up with a high pitched dreadful noise - The rain poured in on the night of the 27th through the bedroom with the double bed and the lounge area. I had to push the bed to the middle of the room and listen to drops into the bucket the whole night. Also, the entire floor was completely wet on tiles (very dangerous). We called the manager at 10pm at night to show him. The next day, we checked out. It was not suitable to stay another evening. The manager was the most unhelpful and unfriendly man. We asked him to phone the owner so that we could get a refund and check out a day earlier. He proceeded to put us on the phone with another manager and pretended that manager was the owner. When we finally got to speak to the owner, he couldn't have cared less about all the issues that we had experienced, and refused to give us a refund for the night we had stayed and would not give us back the money we had paid for the next night that we were not going to stay. I've travelled around South Africa and the globe and have never experienced staff and owners and accommodation as bad as this.

Booked the stay with [URL Removed] Received Booking No and Pin..had to give credit Card details.<br> 3 weeks and 4 days later..with 4 weeks to go to our holiday..received email saying the Booking is not validated as ALL the Agencies had overbooked them..this from [URL Removed] and The Norwegian Lodge. I called the Loge and the incumbent was rude, disaffected and saw fit to tell me rather disparagingly, that I could do what i wanted, no amount of BAD PUBLICITY could harm them as they had a very good name. Upon inquiring as to his name, he smugly told me to look it up on the internet.<br> So lets see about that...and in the meantime I will figure out how to take my 6 year old twins on holiday.<br> So far [URL Removed] has referred me to The Norwegian Lodge.
