0 rating honestly. -5 infact. The worst service in business history. What a mess! I ordered my vanity 2 April 2025 Today is 17th January 2026 and still don't have my vanity, when i ask for a refund they tell me that they will send me the vanity soon "soon" i dont want it anymore and just need my money back. They are rude Indians who are taking advantage of people's money. What a nonsense **** business with 0 business skills, SIES!

I purchased a 10 drawer vanity with mirror on 29th July 2025. At the time, the owner contacted me, as i was nervous about the purchase. I asked the following questions : - The price included delivery - I was told : "No - had to pay extra." - Delivery would take a month because it was made to order. - Do the globes come with the unit - I was told : "No - had to buy separately." - Will the mirror arrive safe - - I was told : "Yes, the couriers do this everyday." 1. The unit arrived in more than a month later - beginning of September 2. The unit was not complete - only the two drawers on either ends arrived 3. There was no top and mirror. I was in constant contact with the owner, he apologized constantly and made different excuses every day. My most important question again was will the mirror be okay, and I was told that the mirror was wrapped properly and will be fine. Finally when I asked for my money back, the top and very broken mirror arrived on the 10th November. When I contacted the owner, he said that they will replace the mirror and send it to me within the end of the week. It is four months since the purchase of my vanity, I have not received my complete unit. I am rather sad about this purchase.

If I could give a 0 I would. Stay clear of this Company. November 2024 I ordered a R15 000 vanity Cabinet with a accessory unit which I asked him to build separately. In December I made full payment. I did not pay small money for the cabinet. He said he would have it delivered by end February as it was a big cabinet. He blames his staff and then said he was not there, so I asked from December until May tou were not there and does he not check his products before shipping them out. Upon back and forth her said he will pay the amount back in installments slowly. I did not agree as I paid him immediate payment and in full. Anyway I had to get an attorney of which he finally agreed to pay installments but he refuses to sign the acknowledgement of Debt from my attorneys, now his evading my attorneys since May 2025 thats like 5 months now, no response, no response, no refund. Im sitting with a half a product thats damaged. I would not recommend and I suggest when putting on reviews that you post it on all the platforms. I would put pictures on Google Reviews before his horrible job but it does not allow me to add pictures.

The Vanity Studio is quick to get money from MobiCred when approval is granted but they are slow to supply the items purchased. My Daughter bought an item from The Vanity Studio through MobiCred, however the item has not been delivered, and the owner of The Vanity Studio is giving her the run around, she even asked to be refunded but the owner does not want to and insists that the item will be delivered. When she contacted MobiCred, they said they cannot assist. What type of business are you running, where you are not able to refund a client. Whatever your financial issues are, is none of my daughter's business as you are expected to provide a service for something purchased and did not uphold your end of the business transaction. Does any of your other customers know that the business you are running is busy failing and you are trying to trick customers in taking their monthly debit orders approved through MobiCred as you already received your money and we are struggling to get the item purchased. We request a refund of the money debited to my daughter's bank account as the item is not received and for MobiCred to take action again The Vanity Studio for not upholding their end of the agreement.

This is a vanity business. I ordered a vanity on April 11 to the value of R3200! Till today May 25, 2025 my vanity is not ready and all I have been hearing is you will receive it in two days or three days but it never arrives. I have now requested to be refunded on May 22, 2025 but there is no sign or confirmation of my refund and the owner will never answer his phone and reply to messages in his own time after I waited way over a month!

This is a vanity business. I ordered a vanity on April 11 to the value of R3200! Till today May 25, 2025 my vanity is not ready and all I have been hearing is you will receive it in two days or three days but it never arrives. I have now requested to be refunded on May 22, 2025 but there is no sign or confirmation of my refund and the owner will never answer his phone and reply to messages in his own time after I waited way over a month!

Do not touch this company. Read all the negative reviews below saying the same thing. Tevin is a ***** and a ****. He has got honey dripping out of his mouth, and he will spin you one lie after another after another after another. He insists on upfront payment and promises a quick turn around. But that's where the urgency ends because he will never deliver when he says he will, he will never contact you, he will never take your calls. The only way you can speak to him is by calling from numbers he does not know. This guy is a total **** artist. Don't get taken in by his "Jesus Heart emoji" profile on Whatsapp. This is intentionally put there so he hopes you think he has integrity. Tevin has zero Christian values. He does not care about the customer, commitments he has made or any sort of professionalism. He is the bottom of the barrel in South Africa. I ordered and paid on April 2nd 2024, for my daughter's birthday on April 12th. He had zero intention of ever getting the gift to us on time. He sent a battered base over a month later with nothing else. Promised to get it collected and send the correct items. I received nothing else until October 11th. He waited 5 MONTHS further to send anything else. I was on his tail all the time, telling him how distressed my daughter was not to have gotten her birthday present. Whatsapping, calling, constantly asking where is the vanity. He ghosted me. **** over and over about having sent it but it mysteriously never arrived. He never collected the base which sat in our living room for 5 months like a piece of junk. On October 11th he sends a broken piece of *******. He will spin you stories even of driving to Joburg, rain delaying the journey, trucks breaking down not once but three times, leaving his family for 15 days to do this nightmare trip where he has to go and see customers who paid BEFORE me...Wow how many customers has he let down who are jotted all over the country. He will spin you every sob story in the book. Tevin is a **** and doesn't care about LYING. Thinking he was going to show up at our house on this arduous journey he'd bravely taken....no it was the courier who always services our area because Tevin hadn't gone anywhere. He was in Durban at his comfortable house paid for by all the customers he's ****** money from and failed to deliver a service to in return. There is no protection for the consumer in SA, but in a civilised country, Tevin would have been shut down. Please notice how all the 5 star reviews appear to be written by his friends and family. And if not I think he created profiles to make them. Do not believe one word Tevin says to you. I would be ashamed to know this person. Also Takealot now sells Vanities so hopefully it puts Tevin out of business.

The Vanity Studio T/A Mirror & Co, with this company you get a long list of lies and excuses, a waiting period of 5 months, broken promises and an outcome of furniture that could be made by a minor. They are lucky I didn't call Devi to investigate... SEVERAL times was I told our furniture has left the company, when after several months of waiting and following up, AND BEING TOLD IT LEFT, then offered to fetch it, the furniture never moved an inch. I paid for delivery, and it was never delivered. I paid a second courier to collect it and after asking for my delivery amount to be refunded, "ill do it today, il do it, ill do it," IT NEVER HAPPEND. After 5 months of waiting for 1 table, low and behold its the wrong table! (don't acknowledge change and not comply,, we have receipts) I mean how *********** can one be?! Months of back and forth messaging went nowhere. A word of advise, don't lie to your customers!!! Don't promise what cannot be delivered!!
