Disgusting
Disgusted My mom ordered a fresh cheese cake for a special occasion. I picture was provided on how the cake must look. When my father picked it up it looked liked it came out of the dustbin. I then returned to try and get it fixed as my mom's guest already arrived. It was her best friends of 45 years bday party. The owner treated me with so much disrespect and made if it was my mother's fault that the cake is wrong. My mother paid R750 for the cake. When i finally arrived at the party with the cake when we cut it and tasted it, it was definitely not freshly baked. I addressed this with the manager again who just stated that my feedback is valuable. My mother was embarrassed in front of her friends and Victorian Secret at no stage took responsibility for their fault in this matter. Taking clients money for something they did not deliver. Disgusted in the new owners and as a loyal customer i would have expected more from them. Will never recommend them to anyone ever again.

The Victorian Secret is NOT a Secret!
I would like to take this moment to express my gratitude to all of the staff at The Victorian Secret, what a lovely experience it was for my family and I to spend our day with you in celebration for my mom’s big day, yesterday. From the communication via emails that were excellent and above all, penetrated to the rest of the staff with no misunderstandings To the excellent first class service we received from the waiters who were all very helpful and friendly as well as the amazing food we ate while we kept warm under that lovely Saturday sun’s rays. Did I mention that they bake delicious cakes, the decor was beautiful and the ambiance, invigorating! The Victorian Secret truly lives up to its standards and values. It is so refreshing to still find such treatment as a customer, where your end to end journey is well thought out and catered for. Well done for an absolutely perfect business that values its customers. Just, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
