I've send them this with no response Dear Management Team, I am writing to formally complain about the extremely disappointing experience I had at your buffet restaurant on 1 February 2026. Despite having a confirmed booking, my name was not on the list when I arrived last week with my husband to check the placeoutand to identifya spot for my function. Yesterday Nothing had been prepared or set up, and as a result my guests and I were left waiting in line for a long period of time. This was frustrating and embarrassing, particularly as arrangements had been made in advance. Service throughout the visit was very poor. The waiter was frequently unavailable, making it difficult to receive assistance when needed. In addition, the portion sizes served by your staff were very small, which is completely unacceptable given that I paid for a buffet service. Guests should not be restricted to small portions when a buffet has been paid for. The quality of the food was also extremely poor. There were only breast portions chicken available very dry and clearly not suitable for everyone’s preference. To make matters worse, I found hair in my food, which is a serious hygiene concern and completely unacceptable. Furthermore, I was informed that a 10% tip was compulsory, yet this amount was automatically added to my bill without proper explanation or my consent. Given the level of service and food quality we experienced, this was especially inappropriate. The line to dish food were extremely long and the placed were over booked and very unpleasant. By the time you get to the food there were nothing and refill took forever. I would suggest a air-condition or fans as it was crowded and very hot. Overall, this experience fell well below an acceptable standard of service, food quality, hygiene, and professionalism. I am extremely disappointed and expect this matter to be addressed promptly. Please note that if this issue is not resolved satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to take this matter further. I would prefer to resolve this directly with you and await your response regarding appropriate compensation or a refund. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Samantha Plaatjies

We had to wait more than an half hour for them to refill prawns and ribs. 2 nd batch came out super salty, to kill the appetite of cause. What a waste of money, so disappointing!

Horrible experience and worst management ever....our booking was for 7pm was only seated at 7:45pm as per waiter they were overbooked .....we only started our mealtime at 8pm and by that time the prawns and ribs which is the specialty was empty we were told by management there is a waiting period of 20 mins.....because we were seating close to the entrance it made it difficult to get to where the buffet was, which ended up in us never getting the buffet setting to enjoy the speciality of ribs and prawns......we.asked the waiter to bring coke as the bottom.less drink which was flat and warm........we eventually left before our eating time lasped and when getting to till point we complained to the cashier, who insisted on the full payment for the meal, the waiter tried to tell him about what we we not satisfied with he completely ignored him......we.ended up paying and left.....the worst experience ever

Went to the village buffet for our end of year eat out,i was very dissapointed with the service there.There was no ribs when we wanted to dish,and when they finally brought it out,we were restricted to only one small piece per person and when we went back for more there was none,so we had to wait another 20min for more ribs and then the same thing happend only 1 piece person,that is only one bone piece with a little meat on.The prawns was only limited to 3 per person ,but this place is a buffet restaurant.The dessert was horrible,the ice cream was melted and the malva had no custard,we had to wait another 20 min for custard to be made. I am never going back there ever and our end of year function will be held at another venue from now on.

Monday 27 September, went in for dinner to celebrate my mother inlaw"s 70th Birthday (cabanga). so unprofessional, staff is wearing other restuarant's uniform. They say "Cape Town's largest variety cuisine - well we got the very smallest. NO BUFFET - few dishes which were restricted to 3 prawns each.( the smallest you can think off) mutton curry - was just gravy, the guy who was serving had to fish for a piece of meat to put in my plate. absolute disaster. ( we were told hey are sill cooking more). Chicken - few VERY DRY CHICKEN BREAST PIECES. PUDDING - WAFFLES - STONE HARD -WE ENDED UP PLAYING DRUMS WITH THEM. i am very sorry, i will not go there ever again and will not recommend that to any one. WE WERE SHORT CHANGED ,PERIOD

Have tried to contract the restaurant, but to no avail. Tried the whatsapp line but no response as yet. Very disappointed in the client service. Would just like to make a reservation
