TopCV - not recommended
My experience with them was totally unprofessional, unreliable, spelling errors, job incomplete, user names odd and no surnames given - SCAM???? Paid for service but incomplete and don't get back to you. Not recommended at all.

CV Service (or lack of it)
This is a complete waste of time. A 16 yo leaving high school could write a better CV than these so called experts. It is a scam. They do not read the e-mail replies and respond accordingly and often computer generated replies or e-mails. The CV produced was awful. The so called team of experts that was supposed to contact me never did. Don't waste your money.

This is a complete waste of time. A 16 yo leaving high school could write a better CV than these so called experts. It is a scam. They do not read the e-mail replies and respond accordingly and often computer generated replies or e-mails. The CV produced was awful. DON'T USE TopCV!
DON'T USE TopCV! I tried their revised CV with their own ATS (software to scan CVs) and it came out a completely wrong profile... I immediately asked the assigne reviewer to modify the CV in order to have the proper job profile coming out but she disappeared... I woudl not suggest anyone to use TopCV services

TopCV: Another International scam to to milk South Africans dry
I would like to warn South Africans subscribed to Careers24 to be on the look out for pop up messages from TopCV, an international company that is trying to scam unemployed work seekers to review their CV online , where they also use ATS to look for key words highlighting the strength of your CV. This is a scam! They are using South Africans high unemployment to their advantage to milk money from the poor. And a lot of people overseas are complaining about the poor service . On the 4th of July I was on Careers24 checking my profile and then I saw an advert to have my CV reviewed for free by professional CV experts who will be able to answer your questions on why your CV is being ignored . So I decided to send it and the following day I received a message with my results from Katie Warren, who reviewed my CV and used ATS. All that I can say is that her review was full of insults than guidelines and it was clear that she down not care abouttemplates and formats that most South Africans use .e.g. She said I must never include Refferences or mention my personality . Because I had registered for Yest4Youth I could tell that this was a scam that was apposing this useful template . And Katie Warren wanted me to consider getting professional CV writers to write my CV and fix my "minor errors" at a cost of R500 to R1000. I am now getting messages from her everyday harrassing me to consider getting a professional CV writer . I had already rejected her offer and told her that I will take my time reviewing my CV. I feel the need for tighter security because she might use all the information on my CV to harass me . This has to come to an end ! Companies like TopCV are going to worsen our current challenges of unemployment and depression amongst the youth . South Africa should try by all means to get rid of such noncompliant companies.

TopCV are scammers
Top CV have no clue what they are doing and after the 4 revision they still never got it correct. I asked for a refund and was told I can only get back 40% of the money due to work that was done on my CV. No work has been done to my CV and after the 4 revision it still has corrections - so what 60 % am I paying for

Don't waste your money - rude service and terrible product
Initial free review was good so I bought a package for £129 for new CV and cover letter. The process was supposed to start within a couple of days and yet it was over a week before they assigned a writer, then she said she'd send her first draft that day and 2 days later I still hadn't received anything, and when I emailed her, she asked for my CV in a different format! So clearly hadn't even begun yet. The first draft was still very text heavy and didn't achieve what I had asked for and I ended up doing more work on it than she did. She didn't send back any significant changes after that even though it's supposed to be a "collaborative" process with multiple revisions. She didn't answer any of my questions and then was flat out rude! When I complained to the support team, they just said they would pass on my concerns to her! appalling service and I would definitely not recommend.
