It has been 5 years since I bought my vehicle from Toyota Westville preowned division. From the beginning I had red flags after the purchase; there was a nick/crack in the front of the vehicle but I thought to dismiss the concern as my car was pre owned however considering that I bought the vehicle from a company as big as Toyota … one would expect that such small things would’ve been fixed by the dealer … mind you I didn’t know anything about cars, I was nervous at 28 buying this car and so I was trusting my dealer and the salesman. A few months go by and my battery gives in, the battery centre asks me about my vehicle I explain that the vehicle is new to my hands but preowned; they insist that even if … I shouldn’t be experiencing such a problem already, that was a back and forth with the management of the dealership to replace my battery … I got to the point where I told them “cause I can now see that you were getting rid of this car this means there are other things I am still going to discover about this vehicle… I’m going to bring this car there and leave it there and stop paying for it” I eventually got assistance. As the year went pass I was noticing the bonnet of my car the paint was burning or fading? I don’t know the right words to describe this. I didn’t pay it much mind thinking of I avoid parking in the sun it will be ok, I took the car for polishing and it came right. As time has gone the fading on the bonnet persists, it is after consultation that I have been trying to communicate with the person who sold me my vehicle that I’ve been consulting about this fading that is worsening, that even though my car is preowned but I didn’t purchase it at a s**** yard/ previous owner/ or pop up dealer, I bought from the dealer of the brand … this should not be happening how is it that they never ensured the paint work was still good; the paint work started going into the second year of having purchased the car. Every time I bring up issues I have with the skeleton of the vehicle I am ignored even by the salesman who sold me the car. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CONSIDER TOYOTA WESTVILLE 🤞🏽 they are working to move product and mask tape the defects just until the product is out of their hands. Outstanding service from this dealership . I have never been treated with such esteem. I want to take this opportunity and show my gratitude to Nkanyiso who is the sales man from Thekwini Westville Toyota . This gentleman is committed to what he does very accommodating takes enough time to explain the product, very patient with customers making sure we felt welcome. My sister bought a Toyota Quantum on the 17 March 2023. The staff gets along the atmosphere in that work place is amazing, from senior management to their drivers . To their senior management please do continue to treat your staff like family and with such dignity. It was worth passing 2 Toyota dealerships to get to you guys. Keep up the good work guys what you do does not go unnoticed. Riaan from Finance department as well. Thank you for explaining everything with such enthusiasms and in simple terms and you guys are so transparent no hidden cost and dodgy terms. Im out of words. You guys made my sister and I felt like home when were there . As for your hot chocolates mmmmmhhh sorry but i will be stopping by now and again. All the best . You deserve all the awards. Your service is unmatched.
