Let me start by saying no vehicle should ever break down on the way to a long-deserved holiday! It’s a stressful situation, especially when you’re far from home. Fortunately, when our engine light and gearbox warning came on just about 10km from Alpine VW in Pinetown, we were in good hands. We arrived late on a Friday afternoon, and after a quick diagnosis, the team at Alpine VW discovered that the mechatronics unit had failed, requiring a part to be ordered from Centurion.
Avishkar at Alpine VW booked us in and explained that we needed to order the part immediately to have our vehicle ready by our departure date. We have a maintenance plan with Traficc, but their claims can take up to three days to process and approve. With our holiday schedule, we couldn’t afford the delay. So, we called Traficc and asked them to expedite and accommodate us. To our delight, Mark Amos was assigned to assist us, and by Monday afternoon, Traficc had approved our claim to the maximum value of the part!
Thanks to Traficc’s quick response, our vehicle was repaired just in time before we had to check out of our accommodation. We’re thrilled with their efficient service and will gladly recommend this maintenance plan to others. Thank you, Traficc, for saving our holiday with your outstanding support!
