I had a very unpleasant exchange with two attendants at the Durban station on the 9th of this month. Being unfami**** with the place as it was my first time there, I did not know where to go for the bus. I didn’t even see the bus come in and as a result I was left behind. I asked and located the Translux/city to city office. What I got in there was not customer service. It was rudeness. The lady there made me feel so small and stupid. I nearly had an emotional breakdown.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO BOOK WITH CITY TO CITY BUS SERVICE/PRASA, PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW: What a nightmare. We boarded the bus in Nelspruit en-route to JHB. Just after Middelburg, the bus ran out of fuel. We had to board onto another bus. For 7 hours, the driver did not once stop at a rest station for us to use the restroom. He mad a few drops in Daveyton and Springs. When we told him we need to use the bathroom, urgently. He told us to find a hide place to urinate. We didn't do that, because there was no place. We sat on that bus from 11:45 to 20:00 deprately needing the restroom. He refused. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I WILL RATHER PAY A FEW RAND MORE AND USE A PROPER BUS SERVICE. 🖕🏻 U CITY TO CITY AND PRASA. USELESS GOVERNMENT ENTITIES🤨😡🤬

Terrible service. Don't your money on this garbage of a bus it stops every 10 minutes while making a shrieking beeping noise. It is slow a 5 hours journey turns into 8 hours of torture. It arrives late and leaves even later there is no charging, no bathrooms, no wi-fi and no customer service it is honestly a terrible travel choice.

This bus arrived early ok I booked at shoprite no where did it state there was no toilet in the bus ontop of it all the bus made so much noise I thot God I might die the seats were extremely dirty the floor too ontop old hard gum stuck by the windows even in it ...it had bugs cocaroaches running over my feet the lady said when you reach your destination leaves bags outside for a while imagine I know these busses can be cheaper but dont we have a right to a clean space the driver had to stop in the middle of no where for women to pee imagine seats had holes in aircons did not work bus driver when he drove to fast the speed thing kept making noise we reached our destination two hours late when we stopped we were given only 10mins at stop imagine worst experience ever I boarded the bus at cape town station on the 10th January 2026 in the morning

Worst travel experience, booked a bus fron Cape Town to Johannesburg 10 Jan 2026 for 11: am the bus we got was bus that just arrived from Johannesburg it got delayed by 2 hours (had to go to the deport to get cleaned) and it also got stuck before we reached the turnel around 15:00.We then waited another two hours for the merchanic to come and still he couldnt fix the problem, called an electrician to come another time waisted.I then called one of the managers to complain i could hear from the tone of this voice how unbothered he was, refused to bring another bus.now its 18:16 he went to fetch the electrician we still have to wait, no water, no food and we also traveling with a small baby.

I booked a bus on computicket, it was for a city to city bus from potchefstroom to Pretoria that was suppose to departure 31/12/2025 at 03h40,the bus never arrived and I was forced to book another bus, this issue got me in trouble at work for being late. I am reporting a cancelled City to City bus booked via Computicket. Booking Ref: B079958G Route: Queenstown to Uitenhage Departure: 31 Dec 2025 at 04:00 The bus did not arrive. We were informed by a Translux driver that it was cancelled. No notification was received. The passenger travelled from Lady Frere to catch this bus for a 10:00 job interview in Uitenhage. A formal email has been sent. Please advise urgently on the refund and resolution.
