I have this cover for almost a year now. They have paid all of of my shortfalls.owing to this i will not cancel the policy. However I have just experienced something about them that you should know. Firstly read the fine print carefully. There are things that medical aids do not cover completely. Be weary as turnberry also doesn't cover what your medical Aid doesn't as well. I was admitted to hospital as i have sickle stem anaemia. i was not concerned about medical aid or shortfalls as i have turnberry gap cover. My doctor charged above scheme rates. Thinking gap cover would cover it i continued my treatment. Now i regret going into hospital as the bills are piling and turnberry might reject them as they have done now. There are still other bills to come and im now weary whether it will be settled. Read their terms and conditions with a 'fine tooth comb' as it is vague and you could be mislead. i only hope that they cover the bills yet to come, I'm now wondering if getting treatment was worth it. i am extremely disappointed and hope my future claims are not rejected.
