Hidden Gem
Loved the experience, especially the walk in the cellar, learning more about the process. This is truly one of the hidden gems of Cape Town and is a must see. I would just suggest some cheese or charcuterie boards to enhance the experience. One gets hungry, so you don't stay as long as you could because there are no eats on offer.

Hidden Gem

I would NOT recommend Krone to anyone!
I am highly disappointed in Krone. I am from Cape Town and came here for the weekend to Tulbagh to explore different wine farms. I am extremely unhappy about Krone. We arrived at 15:20, to be precise, and the gates were closed. The security guard told me I couldn't come in because you were closed, although there were still people. I wanted to visit the tasting area, and online it says you close at 16:00 to arrive at 15:20, and you are already closed. This is extremely disappointing and a disgrace. We would have gone home at 16:00, as you close at 16:00. Best of all, you are closed on Sundays as well. I would NOT recommend Krone to anyone!

Excellent products and Excellent Service
Not only do they produce the BEST Méthode Cap Classique in the country (Krone), they also have the best service. I once had the unfortunate experience of having one of their bottles pop on its own. I informed them, they were most apologetic and were surprised that that had happened ( as a big consumer of their bottles, I was also surprised) but not only did they apologise but sent me a box of my preferred type of MCC. This happened a while back, but I need to give credit where its due!! I have continued drinking the wonderful Krone!

Awesome scenery and delicious MCC tasting
My husband and I spent the weekend in Tulbagh and decided to go to Twee Jonge Gezellen for their MCC tasting again. I just love how they have made the seating so "user-friendly" and the view, as usual is just breathtakingly fabulous. Such lovely service from Davidene, who made us feel very comfortable and special. The MCC was of course delicious. We bought 2 bottles of the Chardonnay Pinot Noir to take home.
