We needed our name board refurbished, as it had faded over the years in the sun. I contacted Mike Van Zyl at Signarama Claremont. He came to us, met with me, did the measurements within just one day and we were ready to go. Within a few days more the two installation technicians arrived and I had this to say in my e-mail to Mike: "I must compliment Cheslyn and Lyle for the wonderful service, which was efficient, professional and friendly. They are an asset to Sign-A-Rama. I will advise when we require the next lot of signage in the near future." I highly recommend Signarama Claremont.
We ordered AND PAID for a screen to surround our Reception desk on 27 June 2019 to Bidvest Waltons here in Cape Town. After waiting for 2 months, the screen was finally delivered and ready to be installed. The 2 installation technicians arrived and what they installed was horrifying. Sandblasted glass screens that had "see-through" bits and looked as if the glass was all dusty. Even after trying to wipe it off, it still remained the same. The installers said that they did not know what the screen looked like, as they just came with the unopened screen to come and install. I told the installers not to remove it, but to tell the sales person to come and have a look at it. Candice eventually arrived a few days later, tried to wipe off the "dust" with a cloth, realised it was not going to happen. Then she said that she would re-order and send the screen back to the manufacturers. About a month later the installers returned with another screen, which was exactly as the first one with blotchy and clear sections. The installers came to remove the screen on 19 September. Once again we heard nothing from Candice. Our receptionist sent an e-mail to Candice on 26 September requesting answers. I am irritated as it is now 30 September, we paid Bidvest Waltons 3 months ago and we are still sitting without our screen. Candice sent a reply to say that they will be replacing the screen. Why would we want their sub-par service? We will probably have to fight really hard to get our money refunded and absolutely No ONE at Bidvest Waltons cares about our needs, the CUSTOMER. My advise to everyone, just don't ever buy anything from Bidvest Waltons, not even stationery. I will most definitely never use them or purchase anything from them ever again!!!
If I could choose a store to purchase my groceries from EVERY day or week, it would be Checkers Muizenberg. Not only is the store easy to navigate through the aisles, but the store is neat and the variety of goods is large and varied. The staff, especially in the Fruit & Veg and Wine sections are knowledgeable and super friendly.
My husband and I spent the weekend in Tulbagh and decided to go to Twee Jonge Gezellen for their MCC tasting again. I just love how they have made the seating so "user-friendly" and the view, as usual is just breathtakingly fabulous. Such lovely service from Davidene, who made us feel very comfortable and special. The MCC was of course delicious. We bought 2 bottles of the Chardonnay Pinot Noir to take home.
Had a late lunch/early supper at The Olive Terrace Bistro situated at the Tulbagh Hotel. I had the Mexican Chicken with sweet potato fries and a side salad. The chicken had a crispy covering which was delicious, the sweet potato fries were firm and the side salad was fresh and quite generous. My husband had a Mexican chicken as well, but in a tortilla with guacamole and salsa. The meal was flavourful and Tammy, was superb as our waitress. A must visit for great food presented very creatively.
I have to commend our masseuses, Elzain and Hagar on an awesome spa experience. My husband and I had come to Tulbagh for the weekend to wind down from a really tough couple of months. We did not stay at the farm, but visited to have a spa treatment. We chose the Couples Reunite Spa, which in hindsight was just perfect for us. Starting off with the hot tub which is beautifully set up with ceiling lights which is reminiscent of the Milky Way. The actual massage was 75 minutes and was everything one could want to relax your mid and body. I could happily have dozed off in this comfortable atmosphere with professional and caring hands softly pummelling away all the stresses of City life. Alas, it was done too soon, but with both myself and my husband vowing to return...SOON!
Pleasant and knowledgeable Andolecia (Senior Consultant). Discussed the rerate of the premiums and she did a re-calculation of the increase. No fuss or bother, all sorted out to my satisfaction. Thank you for the awesome service!
