My two Brussels Griffons have been going to Twisted Whiskers every two weeks, for 9 years, since they were puppies. Not only do they know how to groom them to the breed standard, they have also been consistently kind, caring and profesional over the entire time that my boys have been groomed there. This has not changed even when the groomers or other staff haved changed. They are now collected and aways come home happy and with a bit of a swagger. The smaller Griffon is wrigley and requires excellent handling to keep him safe. I will continue to trust and support Twisted Whiskers.

I have been taking my poodle to Twisted Whiskers for approx the last 7 years and have never cancelled an appointment. Today I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and called to cancel my appointment at 12.30 (I called before 9am), There was absolutely no empath, no respect..... All I got was "Are you aware that there is a cancellation fee and it's in our Terms and Conditions". Well, firstly there is no contract in place with Terms and Conditions and secondly, have respect and empathy towards your customers in cases of emergencies "BECKY". All the years Carmen was the most respectful person working there and this absolutely floored me this morning. Shocked to say the least. I think you seriously need to work on customer service of you want to be the best. Such a pity as I really liked the way the groomers groom the pets and then you have such bad mannered persons that answer the phones and just don't care in serious emergency situations..........

They really care about their clients and pets. They held a competition and could not deside on one winner, but many because they have a huge love for animals. Thank you for loving our fur babies as your own. And thank you for my puppies gift!!!

Today I went to take my two yorkies for grooming, one is 2.1kgs and the other is 4.3 kgs. Not big dogs at all. When I collected them I was told I owed R1000. To be honest I find this outrageous when 4 weeks ago I paid R780. When I said to the owner; Katja Bier that I thought it was outrageous she became so insulting and aggressive. Pointing her finger in my face, telling me to get out of her shop as she won’t have my face in her shop. She then went on to say I am banned from ever going there again (as if I would) and then proceeded with her insults, questioning affordability and that clearly I can’t afford it and I didn’t value my precious dogs enough because I though the price was outrageous. Katja Bier is the most aggressive, rude and appalling business owner and doesn’t deserve to be supported in any way. She has no idea how what customer service is. Not to mention the disgusting and condescending way she spoke to staff whilst I was waiting to be assisted. I notice many bad reviews also on Google review, I also notice that the “positive” reviews are done by her. It’s such a pity that a business is run by such an appalling and aggressive individual as her staff are really lovely. I will never go back (I’m banned any way 😂)

Took my very old cat to the Ferndale branch of Twisted Whiskers to get the lumps in his fur combed out. It took an hour and a half, but he came out sleek and smooth and eminently pattable. Excellent service.

Do not support Twisted Whiskers. They are overpriced and have a really bad attitude. They made an appointment for me the other day and I arrived on time to hear that the lady I spoke to had not made the booking. The manager was not interested and had a very bad attitude. From R300 they quoted me their price was suddenly R450. A total rip off. I had even bathed and dried my dog. I then went to absolute pets in Beyers who were fantastic and charged me less than R200. They spent an hour grooming my shi tzu. I will only use them. This Twisted Whiskers is just awful. Do not support them.!!! Useless management and bad attitude!!!

Do not support Twisted Whiskers. They are overpriced and have a really bad attitude. They made an appointment for me the other day and I arrived on time to hear that the lady I spoke to had not made the booking. The manager was not interested and had a very bad attitude. From R300 they quoted me their price was suddenly R450. A total rip off. I had even bathed and dried my dog. I then went to absolute pets in Beyers who were fantastic and charged me less than R200. They spent an hour grooming my shi tzu. I will only use them. This Twisted Whiskers is just awful. Do not support them.!!! Useless management and bad attitude!!!

Ferndale Randburg Twisted Whiskers pet grooming is denying they snipped my Pekekgnise neck. My pekegnise male whom we have had for 8 years has NEVER has an oozing sore. We reiterated to the pets store that they must be very gentle with him.as he is blind and he has a lump on his head neck area. Today we took the dogs for a walk and noticed a yellow oozing puss coming from the exact spot I asked them not to cut. They deny everything I called them to explain the situation, the lady referred it to the branch manager who had not seen photos or witnessed the dog and refused and denied it was them based on NO evidence seen. I then got this message from them after I said I would report them. Their words we " we not paying anything" so their interest is money not the pets. All my rights remain reserved Good Day ****** Please send us photo's of the lump to spa@twistedwhiskers.co.za for our vet to further evaluate and keep on record. Thank you Twisted Whiskers Ferndale 011 326 3626 This was only after I said I would report them and that thry hadn't looked at photos to nske a judegement.
