My car has been there for 11 weeks and still not done. They falsely advertised on their website they work with my warranty provider. It turns out they don't have their registration with them in order, so for over 3 weeks I was held in limbo while they tried - and failed - to get their sh..stuff in order. The warranty provider phoned me to tell me they cannot work with them, and that I have to claim after the fact. Then it took them a couple of weeks to test the injectors, took them over 4 weeks to replace the ECU. There is no hurry. Meanwhile, I have to pay thousands out of pocket extra for alternative transport because of these clowns.

Very very unprofessional. Filled in their forms when taking my car - specifically said keep all parts replaced in my car! I was then told they discarded them. In short I do not know if my car was even fixed because went from running now just parked on m drive way not even cranking! Bad service in my whole life of existence. Bare in mind paid 25k!

My car is in limp mode. The first thing I said I want the power back, do not do service if the car does not have power. Paid R25k, service done car still in limp mode and they qoute additional R50k - why initially didn't know the problem. It is like guess work and I fill ********** (****med). The communication is poor, you follow up. Take your car the at own risk!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Vagspec. I took my Audi Q5 in for an oil pressure warning issue. The vehicle was kept there for an entire week. During that time, I was advised that they needed to: Do an oil service Replace the left CV Do a wheel alignment Replace the fan belt, tensioner, alternator pulley and idler pulley Every time I followed up, I was told they were busy working on the CV, belts and pulleys, and that I would only receive the car the following Monday because they were waiting for an oil pressure switch they had ordered. I specifically asked what was wrong with my current oil pressure switch, which was only two weeks old and supp**** by Audi East Rand. I never received a clear answer to that question. On Monday, I was then told that they had only done the oil service — none of the other work they had previously said they were busy completing had actually been done. When I spoke directly to the technician, he told me he had refitted my existing oil pressure switch. I then asked whether a proper mechanical oil pressure test had been done to isolate the low oil pressure problem. He said yes. However, when I requested the actual pressure readings at different RPMs and operating temperatures, I was sent a VCDS video instead of physical mechanical gauge readings. After collecting the vehicle and driving back to work, I discovered an oil leak when leaving later that day — something that was never there before the car went in. For a company that markets itself as Audi specialists, this experience was extremely unprofessional. There was poor communication, no transparency regarding diagnostics, and no proper accountability. I have kept all WhatsApp messages and voice notes relating to this matter should there be any attempt to misrepresent the situation. Very disappointing experience overall.

I brought my golf R : 30/08/2025, with the knock in an engine. The advice was to rebuild the engine which costed me R84 000 which i did pay. Since from August after pay, i never recieve any progress report about my vehicle. I contacted the lady ( Cmoner /Symoner) who i did full payment too. The only answer i recieved with a sticky attitude was engine is out to engineering no futher explanation why does it it take so long. I personally started visiting their workshop every weekend due to frustration. On the 07/12/2025 i recieve my car, i only drove +/- 250km same day a car made same knock on the engine. I towed the car back to their workshop on the 08/12/2025. I have been told that i will recieve my car next year due engineering are closed. The issue i have is the poor service and sticky attitude from Symoner when i ask her why should i be the one who make follow up on my car , 4 months with no report. Previously the was a white lady who used to assist me there, i never had this kind of problem every day i would be updated about my car. Now i have to wait until next year to get my car sorted

Since I opened a case with MIOSA against Randburg Vag Spec, the matter has been dragging on for more than six months without resolution. During this period, I requested that my vehicle be returned to my custody, not to cancel the case but simply to ensure it remained safeguarded under my care until a final determination was reached. My concern was genuine, especially since I had left two pairs of sneakers inside the vehicle. Upon collecting my car, I discovered that both pairs of sneakers were missing — clearly ****** while the vehicle was in Randburg Vag Spec’s possession. What makes this worse is the manner in which the matter was handled. The manager, Andre, together with Albert, were dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional. Instead of investigating the theft or taking accountability, they immediately hid behind a generic disclaimer that reads: “Vehicle driven & stored at vehicle owner’s risk. Please remove all valuables from your vehicle.” This so-called disclaimer is nothing more than a shield for their employees to escape accountability. It essentially gives them the freedom to ***** customers’ belongings without consequence. In my case, there was no forced entry, no break-in, and no outside interference — my car was locked, and the workshop had the keys the entire time. Yet, my sneakers disappeared under their watch. This demonstrates not only negligence but also a blatant lack of integrity and customer care. Randburg Vag Spec has shown that they are *************, unprofessional, and unwilling to take responsibility for the actions of their staff. Customers are left vulnerable, with the clear message being: leave your car with them at your own risk, because if anything is ******, they will do nothing
