Such a great experience at Visiomed Northcliff, from the reception, the soecialists, Dr Kritzinger and the nurses, felt so comfortable every step of the way, handled with care and professionalism. And the outcome is brilliant with hardly any downtime. Thank you.

I went in yesterday to Visiomed for a cataracts removal. It was my first operation and I have never undergone a general anesthetic, so I was very nervous. The staff - Darlene, Pam and Bernadette - were so great. They were understanding, supportive and patient with me. Thank you all - it makes a big difference!!! Also, to the anesthetist, Dr van Wyk who was very kind and thorough. Top notch care from very professional and friendly staff.

I would like to thank Dr. Hein van Wyk (Surgeon), Dr. Schalk van Wyk (Anaesthetist), and the staff of Keravision for their amazing professionalism and superb workmanship during my cataract surgery at the VisioMed Eye Laser Clinic. What an amazing experience! The people at the clinic were kind and caring and really put my mind at ease about the surgery. I can recommend everyone who was involved to anyone who is still worried about having cataract surgery. Do it! You will not be sorry because you are in good hands!

I have just had a cataract removal and a lens insertion done in both eyes (one week apart) and on both occasions the care, efficiency and friendliness of the staff was fantastic. From the receptionist who greeted me with a smile and ease that made those pre-op jitters recede to the ward staff who explained exactly what the procedures were and constantly checked that I was comfortable, to the theater staff who also made sure I was as comfortable as possible.. Even on departure every effort was made to ensure that there was someone there to fetch me and that I knew what do to when I got home. What a professional and well run establishment, I would not hesitate to recommend it.

I am not easily impressed but the excellent service, health staff and treatment I received at Visiomed Eye & Laser Clinic has impressed me no end. I had to have a cateract removed at this medical health facility and from the time I entered their premises to the time that I left I was treated like a VIP. If it wasn’t for the fact that most of Visiomed’s health workers spoke Afrikaans I would have believed that I was being treated at a world-class health facility in a First World country like Switzerland. Notwithstanding the fact that the health workers were weighed down by all the additional paraphernalia because of the coronavirus, they remained extremely stoic, professional and friendly throughout the procedure. It was obvious that it was not simply another job for them but a calling. Dr Robbertze (I hope that’s how you spell it), the anaesthetist, was in a class of his own and if Medical Aid gave me a choice in the matter it would go without saying that he would be my first and only choice. Kudos also go to Dr Hein van Wyk, the Opthamologist, who did the procedure. Other medical facilities (and I’ve been a patient in many of them) ought take a page from Visiomed’s book.
