I attended the Corona open in Jeffreys Bay today and the Boet Erasmus was offered at the Corona stall at R 185 per bottle. I offered to bye 9 bottles. I was told that the price was wrong, they changed it to R 235 per bottle. I agreed to still buy it. I was then told it is not for sale and was threatened to be banned to the festival if I put it on the internet. The event organiser, Ari Kraak was so wrong and do not uderstand the consumer protection act. This is so bad for our local community.

No security at carpark, my handbag with all my valuables ****** out of my car during a race event. No cameras at carpark area. Apparently there were previous incidents, why dont management secure the carpark?

One of our favourite trail-running farms, and love their wines! Bought my mom some lovely wines as #MothersDayTreats this past weekend. Thank you for a lovely experience! Unfortunately, it was too early to try your tastings but we'll be back.

Had a terrible experience at the restaurant of this wine farm. 5 of us ordered the prawn pasta which arrived completely under done. We told our waitress and the restaurant manager that all of our prawns were raw to which their only response was that it was cooked. There was no attempt to take our meals back to have the prawns cooked more until one of us insisted repeatedly on hers going back. Upon trying to speak to the manager, we were told that we should never come back. We told the manager that her response and attitude was incredibly rude to which she responded that WE should check our attitude. Up until this point, we had no issue with anyone, it was exclusively our food that we had a problem with. However, the response and treatment by the restaurant manager was incredibly dismissive, rude and uncalled for as our comments were around our meals. There was NO apology or attempt to try resolve the actual issue of our meals being underdone. Our bad experience was limited to the Lust restaurant and the restaurant manager.

I use the hold the name Vrede en Lust in very high regard and would not in my wildest dreams ever suspected that they would engage them self in a bait and swap kind of marketing tactics. What happened was that I purchased a box of Vrede en Lust 2013 signature Boet Erasmus red wines, this being my favorite wine and me being very familiarize with red wine and especially blends I can easily by pure taste identify this wine out of a number of others. when the box of wine was delivered at my house last week inside the box was Vrede en Lust 2014 Boet Erasmus, which by my own judgement is not nearly in the same class as the 2013 signature Boet Erasmus, have not won any of the big awards like the 2013 variant and should there not be anywhere in the same price range. Alot of people have been deceived on the Huntex like this that might never notice the difference, and would never understand why the wine they tasted on the Huntex tasted so awesome and the ones delivered taste so vulgar, but I expect Vrede en Lust wines to correct this cheap sales tactic that they pulled on me as the Vrede en Lust 2014 Boet Erasmus wine is vulgar to my taste to say the least and not worth what I paid for it at all.
