Greedy Vets
I visited the animal hospital on Sunday 3 Aug 2025 during visiting hours 10 to 11am. As per the attached screen shot on the wesite extra fees would be charged if not during visiting hours. They charge R190 for cleaning out the anal glands that took 7 min to do. The receptionist mentioned that an xtra fee of R390 will apply. I said that this is contradicting to their website. I started washing the bedding toys and carpets ect at home. I stayed for them to clean out the glands. I asked the receptionist to cancell our file as I will not be supporting them again. I buy my pets food, eye drops, ear drops, toys, tic pills, shampoo, had him sterilised, visited them weekly to change his bandage and to have XRays done ofter he broke his leg as a 10 week old puppy. They were to happy to loose a client. Fortunatly we have good vets in the area who woud appreciate the loyal support more. Showing greed is a terrible way to do business.

Amazing Veterinary team!
The Wellington Animal Hospital is the best!<br> <br> From our first visit for dog food, to puppy innoculations, vet visits, and the latest 5 day hospital stay - the whole team has been wonderfully helpful and caring!<br> <br> By all accounts the service and costing far exceeds other veterinary service providers. <br> More importantly our puppy got the best care and returned home after 5 days well on the mend!<br> <br> All personnel from the receptionists, accountant to the Doctors and Nurses were amazingly friendly, kind, patient and helpful! The animal hospital team was pro-active, thorough and very well informed. Every worried phone call we made for a progress report was promptly responded to, and all our queries answered in detail.<br> <br> We are extremely grateful to have have this amazing team in our neighborhood! A special thank you to Dr van Rooyen who last handled Astro's care, and Sonja and Hanlie who kept him company and tended to him over the last 5 days. <br> <br> With grateful thanks!<br>

Best serivice & compassion
I had to put my baby (Chocco) down. The hardest thing I ever had to do!!!! They helped me with the grieving & had nothing but compassion with me. And they sent a card to show their respect & to help me with the grieving process. And for that, I would like to say THANK YOU!!! Best vet & service ever!!
