Visited the Wimpy store at La Lucia Mall for lunch, ordered my food on the app and paid with my linked card. Waiter informed me that the owner of the store had stepped out and left his elderly parents in charge who were unable to retrieve the order from the Wimpy online platform. Called Wimpy customer service who confirmed that the order had been placed successfully and payment processed on my credit. However, both parents were extremely rude and arrogant refusing to speak to Wimpy customer service and would not honour the order so I had to leave the restaurant. To add insult to injury, my refund has still not been processed by Wimpy. Please avoid this location as there are many other reputable eateries in the mall. This branch tarnishes the image of Wimpy and the owner needs to put knowledgeable people in charge of the store in his absence
