I got a car from woodmead autos in 2021 now I am about to sell and upgrade it but when I take it to dealerships they say it’s an accidental car when the company did not even tell me nothing about it when I got the car. Now my life has been at risk for years thinking I got a fresh car not knowing it’s an accidental car fixed and sold to me.The company did wrong and it’s not reputable

Woodmead Auto made buying a vehicle a smooth and seamless experience. The after sale experience was also awesome and I wish to give some flowers to Naeem and his team for going out of their way to build a new relationship through this experience.

This is my horror story of Woodmead Auto I bought a Audi A3 from their Boksburg branch in 2021, within 2 months I started having problems, vehicle went into limp mode immediately. I first contacted my insurance and sent the vehicle in for diagnostics, the vehicle was sold to me with prior faults that were either cleared by the previous owner of the dealership. I called the sales person by the name of Naeem to notify him and to assist with the situation at hand as these were not my faults, with no joy I received a case of bad attitude probably because I'm a female but conveniently when it's time to make money everyone is nice to you. I had to go to their main branch in Woodmead as no one would answer my calls for days, the owners son Ridwaan tried to tell me this was my fault and they can pay half of the bill for repairs or pay the settlement amount for my vehicle?! I refused and asked that the vehicle be returned but then they promised to fix the vehicle. They gave me a loan vehicle in the interim that no brakes and insects coming out of the air vents. 2 months later received my vehicle with unexplained paint damages & still a faulty vehicle with all the lights on the dash still on. It was only when I contacted MIOSA and Wesbank did they start to act on their faults, The owner eventually got involved, after months of going back and forth the sales deal was eventually cancelled and the vehicle was retuned. I had to agree to not posting on social media just to get my deposit money returned. I lost R 5000 on this vehicle. Fast forward 1year 4 months later I went to renew my current vehicle license and to my surprise the Audi A3 that I purchased from Woodmead Auto is still on my name, I contacted Woodmead Auto & after giving my banking account details they paid for the license renewal , within 2 hours later of receiving payment in my account from Woodmead Auto for the license disc I had to report ***** on my account as money was deducted from my account without my permission or knowledge. I would just like to post my story here so people are aware and can make proper decisions when dealing with this dealership.

How does a dealership sell a car without a spare key that is soo not fair of them. I bought an X3 in December 2020 was helped by a guy called Riaaz. He didn't disclose to me that the car didn't have a spare key hence I could even have negotiated the price to go down if there is no spare key. After a few weeks I therefore asked for the spare key and I was told that most second hand cars don't come with a spare key, but how on earth is that my problem? Why wasn't it charged on the selling price of the car? I am soo disappointed and saddened by the responses I got when I asked that the dealership to organize the spare key for me. Is amazing how after selling the car they just don't care about customer service. I was told if you want donation ask nicely, why Riaaz now speak to me a client like that?
