World Remit cannot be re**** upon for urgent transactions that require quick processing. I recommend using alternative platforms to ensure your transactions are completed smoothly and without delays. On April 23rd, I made an urgent transaction that initially showed as pending for several hours before being cancelled. I contacted their help desk, and they promised to investigate the issue. However, the waiting time extended from hours to days, and I have yet to see the transaction either processed or reversed. My bank confirmed that the funds were received by the merchant on April 25th, yet today is May 6th and the issue remains unresolved. This is not the first time I have encountered such problems, which is why I feel compelled to raise this concern. Be warned!

Worst worst worst customer service. If a transaction fails you are own your own, you have lost your money. Use this service at your own risk. Not worth it at all.

Extremely disappointing and alarming experience. WorldRemit advertises fast and reliable transfers, but my experience has been the opposite. Transactions are cancelled without clear reason, and even though money is deducted from my bank account, they claim they never received the funds. Customer support is slow and unhelpful, offering no accountability. This kind of behavior feels *****ulent and is honestly no different from theft when money is taken with no service provided. I would strongly warn others to be very careful using WorldRemit.

I recently used World Remit to send money to my mother out of the country where I reside and the transaction failed. Had to send a friend to do the transaction for me. To my surprise I was contacted by World Remit a few weeks later telling me that even though the transaction said ‘failed’ money had gone out to my recipient and they will deduct the money from card. This was untrue and there was no record of this transaction on my World Remit transaction log. I tried to call them before they took money but was stuck with a useless robot that does not understand a thing. When they finally deducted money I managed to chat to an agent who just cut me off after pretending I was not responding to the conversation. I requested a chat again and the next agent insisted that money went out but could not provide the reference number for that transaction. I reached out again and the next agent did the same thing, insisted money went out but could not provide the delivery ref number. He then said they would contact me in 48 hours. It’s been 96 hours and no one contacted me. Luckily I got my bank to reverse the transaction. I felt financially abused. Please if anyone is to use World Renit please use virtual cards as they have dynamic CVV numbers. Or rather, use other reliable service providers

Then I requested a refund of the funds and they actioned the refund. I followed up and was advised that the refund has been done I need to wait. I waited and followed up again a few days later with my bank and world remit. At this point world remit requested a refund receipt to be sent to me, which is when they realised that the refund failed and they need to do a manual refund. This is the worst service I received. 1 out of nearly 20 transactions was successful in 3 months!!!! I have to have my refund today I urgently need the funds!!!!! Transfer delayed and the *********** live agents give conflicting reasons. World Remit became such an unreliable transfer platform and to reach the customer care line is impossible. Pathetic service, never had an issue with MoneyGram or Western Union. I mailed the complaints e-mail several times but NO response.

World Remit has ongoing issues with their Visa Card payment option, for a company that offers critical transfer services it is pathetic that they cannot solve the ongoing issue, dragging on for weeks now. Loyal customers are now forced to use alternative online international transfer options. Poor communication from World Remit re the issue and no due date in sight when the issue would be resolved
