Wrought Iron Crafts gone AWOL without delivering goods
On 22 February 2018 I purchased a Table and X6 Chair outdoor wrought iron set. I paid for both table and chairs in full via EFT R10 000.00. The communication with the supplier was very professional and frequent prior to me making payment. Things went south after they received payment. Today is the 8th of May 2018 and I've yet to receive the chairs. After a lot of chasing and following up they only delivered the table on the 14th of March without the chairs and I was forced to pay an additional R721.60 in order for the courier to release the goods to me. And this was not communicated prior. I paid the amount because the courier company was going to take the goods back to Cape Town. Throughout the experience with Wrought Iron Crafts my communication with them after payment has been limited to WhatsApp with an individual by the name of Firosa Da Costa who happens to be one of the people listed as one of the owners of the of the business together with Nicolas Ronald Page on CIPC. I've phoned all the different numbers listed on their website numerous times from different numbers and I've never been able to speak to someone directly on the phone and emails also remain unanswered. The current status is that Whatsapps are unanswered and I have not heard from them and I'm stuck with a table with no chairs. https://wroughtironcrafts.co.za/contactus/

As I understand that in today's world, there are things we need to be weary of, especially when purchasing online, I assure you, you need not worry in this instance. I HAVE PURCHASED 2 BEDS FROM WROUGHT IRON CRAFTS AS WELL AS A DAYBED AND AM STILL IMPRESSED BY THE SERVICE AND PRODUCTS I RECEIVED :) Just to clarify. . . Metal Art Beds and Alcatraz are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT OWNERS to Wrought Iron Crafts and Firnic - I know this for a fact as I once had a long chat to Ferosa who was very helpful with all my questions. Take a second to google and you will see my (Roz) glowing review there too. Not to mention the positive reviews I've seen for Firnic. To my previous commenter, I hope this puts you at ease, and may I suggest popping in at their Goodwood showroom? You might just be pleasantly surprised . . .

Dodgy business! Beware...!
<p>I am interested in buying a metal daybed. I went online and found the following company: "Wrought Iron Crafts" aka "Metal Art Beds" aka "Furnic" aka "Alcatraz Gates". A daybed is a relatively large investment, starting from R4000 upwards. I would therefore like to actually see one before I place my order. The abovementioned websites all state that you can visit the factory but "By appointment Only" I phoned, spoke to Ferosa and asked to set up an appointment. I am still waiting to hear from her - 10 days later. I had some other business to attend to in Cape Town today and decided to drop in on this company. The first address in Goodwood turned out to be a residential house. Nobody resonded. I phoned the number advertised on the Internet and spoke to Aziza who directed me to an address in Bellville. This was supposed to be the workshop at an industrial park. Again, no luck. On arrival I could not find any sign posting and very little activity at this industrial park. I spoke to one of the other tennants who gave me the assurance that she has never heard of any one of the abovementioned companies!</p> <p>Dodgy to say the least! Has anybody else had any contact or dealings with this company?</p>

<p>We ordered a wrought Iron day bed for our daughter on arrival in South Africa and were very impressed with the initial response and assistance from Nick and Firosa. However, delivery was delayed by several weeks and then on arrival of the bed, it was completely scratched and knocked. I immediately sent photos and WIC said it must have been done by the courier company and took it up with them. I got a quote from a local company to respray the bed and, after much backwards and forwards between us, Nick called me to advise that they would pay for the respray so I arranged to have it done. Once done, I forwarded the invoice to Nick and he advised that, as the courier company had now refused to take responsibility and pay anything, they could not pay for the respray!!!!! So my R8500 day bed ended up costing R10900 and a lot of angst and anger and frustration. I will never recommend or buy anything from this company - they are underhand and unscrupulous!!!!!!</p>

Excellent follow up and helpful service
I replied to an ad on Gumtree for affordable quality garden sets. I was contacted via email requesting me to visit the website. I was busy going through the site when i received a call from Firoser (Sales Consultant) who was very helpful and answered all my questions, i then explained that i would be needing the set (Pacific Rose 4 seat) for my wife's birth day on the 25 August and she should contact me on the 9th of July and thank you for the call today Firoser and i will be doing the deposit first thing in the morning, Mark.

Great service and delivery
We ordered a patio 6 seated dinning set and a iron bed frame from Wrought Iron Crafts - Our order was timeously delivered and the service was fantastic. My wife and i where kept informed throughout the process and i quite liked the picture they sent before delivery, great job guys, Gary.
