Been there many times service so professional and very friendly atmosphere, clean neat and food served so presentable that even if you hungry you will clean your platter keep it up adega

If there was zero stars, I would choose zero We ordered a Platter which came absolutely cold, we told our waitress, she relit the Platter, and expected us to wait for it to warm, we waited for it to heat, it never heated. Pathetic food, pathetic service, would be great to let people know how bad this branch is. We wanted to sit inside, as it was windy and our drinks were blowing away, the waitress said Don't sit inside its full of flies. Our bill came to over a R1000 for food we took away, and gave to the homeless. Cold, old food. Very sad. Adega use to be our favorite place, maybe new owners. Drinks were watered down. And they no longer give free rolls, but they make u pay R50 a garlic roll, and give you 1 checkers looking hot dog roll with cheese. Such a joke, honestly. Disgusting place, will never return

Omg! I can't believe the nerve of these people, to actually post this and knowing the fact that there was such a big complaint and concern about this meal today. Firstly my family and I loved eating here but after today's service we won't be going there again. Secondly our waitress was very not interested she literally left our starters on the table and walked away.then we noticed she brought the wrong order then we had to wait for assistance to change the order Secondly we ordered the thermidor- most 🤢 thing ever the crayfish was not cleaned, the scooped all the flesh of the crayfish out they left a few strands of flesh in to make you think the flesh is there and stuffed the crayfish with cheese, garlic and a few mushroom bits Thirdly- we complained so many times about the food but nothing was done about it ,we complained to the floor supervisor right up to the manager, he just apologized and no action was taken , after eating the meal we actually felt sick , we paid for eating the dirt of the crayfish which was R750 per kg ,the manager did not offer any compensation or anything all he said was thanks for the support we appreciate no interest whatsoever Very disappointed and disgusted with adega at gateway today🤮🤮🤮🤮no action has been taken into consideration as yet from yesterday 13 November 2022

On the 03 November 2022, I went to this restaurant. It was booked for a function however, they still allowed us in. We could not focus on our meals as the noise was too much. The food was not of good quality- the kitchen decided to just throw whatever left over sides they had available in our platter. They should have had a sign on the door that stated ''closed for a function'' and we should never have gotten food prepared in a sloppy manner. This is not the standard from Adega. Adega Gateway needs proper kitchen management and proper people to prepare their food. Presentation is key. Customers can pick up when you stuff all left overs from a function in a platter. I am highly disappointed.

Purchased 2 chicken pastas from gateway adega today, food had an aweful smell and tasted disgusting. Upon notifying owner faizel, he became arrogant and was not willing to listen. He kept speaking over me and was repetitive. Not willing to solve the problem at all. My friend threw up the pasta. It was so terrible, possibly a hungry dog wouldn't eat it. disgusting food and even poor service. Would never eat there again
