My account with HiFi Corporation, which was handed over to your debt collection company, ADRS. At the time, my account was in arrears and I entered into a payment arrangement with ADRS. I honoured the agreement in full and ensured that all required payments were made as arranged. Upon requesting a statement of account, I noted that my account reflected a credit balance of R490. However, after this credit appeared, a further amount of R500 was debited from my account. I subsequently received a paid-up letter confirming that the account has been settled. To date, I have not received any feedback regarding the refund of the overpayment. I fulfilled my obligation by settling the account as agreed, and I now request that the same level of accountability be shown in resolving the outstanding refund due to me.

On the 10th of November 2025 I accepted a settlement offer from ADRS and promptly paid. I was told that it could take seven days for payment to reflect and that it will then take another 14 to 21 days to receive a settlement letter. Despite multiple formal email follow-ups, I still have no settlement letter. These things affect my credit score / ability to get credit, but it seems that once you have paid, you are off the radar. It is sad that one has to post here to get a response.

These guys are ****mers. They do not provide you with any formal information regarding alleged debt. NO IDEA how they got my information. Do not pay until they provide you with proof of your debt and proper documentation. They send you emails for loans you dont have.

Stop contacting me about a debt for “Louisa.” I’m not that person. Despite repeated requests—including today (8 Oct 2025)—you keep calling and texting. Remove my number from your system and confirm in writing, per POPIA.

I am extremely disappointed with how Sleepmasters has handled my account. I was actively paying off a Restonic bed and had an outstanding balance of only R1,896.64, which I was committed to settling by month-end. Without any notice or communication, ADRS took the bed and it was later sold. I received a document stating that the bed was sold for R4,858.66 — more than what I owed. Yet now I'm being told it was sold for "just over R1,000" and that I still need to pay off the account. This is a serious contradiction and feels like deception. To make matters worse, R922.63 was debited from my account on 30 April 2025, after the bed had already been sold. I no longer have the product, yet I’m still being charged. I’m requesting: A full explanation of this price discrepancy. A refund of R1,622.63 (R700 surplus from the sale + R922.63 debited after the sale). A fair resolution that reflects basic customer respect and transparency. This entire process has been frustrating, unfair, and unprofessional. I hope this complaint is taken seriously and handled with urgency.
