I am totally dissatisfied with this company! I received a form from Natasha and filled it in with the thought that she would send me more info on their advertising platform. Next thing I receive a bill for R6831. I had not approved an ad or in my mind I had not agreed to advertising with them, as on further inspection realized our product offering would not benefit from their platform. I explained this at length to Natasha and she would not budge. She was definitely more interested in the sale than having a satisfied customer. Eventually I VERY reluctantly had to pay a 50% cancellation fee. In no uncertain terms I told them never to contact me again, in writing and on the phone. 1 year later I receive another bill for R6831. At that stage still bitter about my experience with Natasha I saw red and became very very angry. I told them that I had cancelled - payment of a cancellation fee can only mean that I cancelled - and they insisted that I had not. I kept on getting harassing phone calls from various members of staff Ann, Zea and a few others, saying that I owed them money. Not only had I cancelled but I had never approved an advert! These calls - of which there were many - were not only time consuming but also emotionally draining! I asked to speak to senior management and each time had to repeat my story and send emails to which I never received answers only to get the next harassing phone call! Next thing I am handed over to SMA (Steven Murray and Associates) with an extra R1166.1 added to the bill. Needless to say I went through the whole thing again, phone calls, emails with loads of time and heightened emotion. I did not want to advertise with these people yet they insisted that I agreed to it. After much discussion, Gill Saunders at SMA agreed that they did not have a case and the whole thing was declared nul and void. I requested in writing from the company that they send me written confirmation that my so called "contract' was terminated, and that no further monies are "owing", but to date have not heard a thing! CLEARLY A SALE IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN A SATISFIED CUSTOMER TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

On the 27/02/19 received a call from Thandeka , of which she has been calling for weeks to get hold of me , after our chat she sent through a registration form , we filled it in and sent it through for their advertising purposes but then we realized that we do not need their services and sent through an email to cancel our Registration for of which it stated that for their services we need to pay an amount of R1459.00 when they will advertise our Company... As the email was sent to them to cancel the services we keep on receiving invoices for services not used by us, nor agreed on an Layout of the Ad . Now all of a sudden we owe them R22 694.10??? within a period of 3 months cancelling the service.

Called continuously to take ad so signed up for what we thought was 1 year but apparently fine print says that you continue paying annually for ad unless you cancel? Ad place in handbook and received copy, then suddenly billed for another year and now being threatened with action if we do not pay, however 2nd years ad we are being threatened with has never even materialised. Now we get an invoice that we only need to pay a 50% cancellation fee for an ad that was never in print and we are told that there were delays but to date still no publication with any sign of a printed ad and not even a call to ask if we had any changes? This is +-R9k for nothing. Keep phoning and get no joy from anyone. Eventually get to someone in PR and she "pretends" to agree with my complaint but clearly once we put the phone down from each other, she forgot that I existed. I am disgusted that a company professes to be so professional customer orientated as I have done my research and yet this is how they go about doing business. Shocking!

After paying for an ad in SA Government Directory 2014/2015 in December 2014 there has been NO sight of this printed book. After many emails and phones calls to the African Directory Services including leaving a message for the Director I have still not been contacted by anyone BESIDES when I made the phone calls. This is a complete breach of contract as the book should have been published in January 2015. When speaking to Lisa I asked for a refund and instead she offered to give me an extension for 6 months. How can you give an extension for 6 months when the book has not been published yet? I asked for a refund and Lisa was going to get back to me. Since my last call to African Directory Services on 27/7 I have not heard back from them. This is not customer services at all. I hope African Directory Services understands that without customers they won't have a business. I will also report them to PASA.
