Shocking service from Old Mutual in requesting a retirement investment withdrawal. I requested a retirement withdrawal of my whole Max Investment in December 2024. To date, I have not received anything, nor have I have I received any correspondence about this! I have phoned their support desk three times since then, and each time was assured that they see the withdrawal request on the system, and they would follow up on it. Still nothing has happened and no correspondence on this!! This is now over 3 months later!
Absolutley pathetic service. I had a Credit Card with Tymebank, which they gave me a Bank Account with supposedly zero fees with. I have since closed the Credit Card account, and have been trying for weeks to get my bank account closed, as I am not using it, and they are charging me R7 per month fees for an inactive account. Because there is a positive balance of R8 in the account they refuse to close it. I do not have access to the online banking - it has blocked me out, and neither do I have a debit card, as one was never issued to me. I aslo live 60 km from the nearest Pick and Pay that has a Tymebank kiosk - i am not travelling 120km to get this sorted! This should be able to be done by them online! Without withdrawing that R8, they keep rejecting the closure of my account! This is really pathetic and disgusting service!

Our move from Cape to KZN was delayed from the outset due to poor operational management. I had booked the move months in advance, but they still messed it up. On the day of the move they didn't even have us on our schedule, so I had to phone them to chase this up, and they managed to get a truck to me at 5PM, messing my plans for travel up. On the KZN side, again due to poor operational management, they had a huge delay in getting the delivery to us - it arrived one day late, and only at 5PM! I had to outlay for an extra night's accommodation because of this! Did they offer to recompense me? No. On the good side, the packers and movers themselves were very friendly and efficient.
SCAM ALERT! This company is a scam! I never received my goods. After placing my order, I followed the tracking with Aramex using the tracking number given by Bestbuyer, only to find out that the same tracking number has been queried by countless others and is shown as delivered, indicating that it is a scam! There are other 5 star rating made by other people for this company, but i suspect that they are perhaps false reviewers?! On the strength of those ratings, I placed my order with them! Stay away from them!
SCAM ALERT! bestbuyer.co.za is a scam! Parted with my money for goods, thinking it was the same company as 'Bestbuyer', which has a high trust rating on Helopeter, and, of course never received anything, and am not able to contact them. The courier company, Aramex, has indicated they are a scam and bestbuyer.co.za created a scam tracking item on their website, so it appears as if there is full tracking for itmes ordered!

Absolutely disgusting customer support. I tried to cancel my LTE contract due to moving and there being no decent MTN coverage where i moved to, but they are ignoring my request! I am getting absolutely no comeback from them. I put my cancellation through 10 days ago. I guess the only thing left for me is start bouncing their debit orders - perhaps that will get their attention! :-(
I have been waiting for a delivery for two weeks now, for something that should have been delivered in two days. They keep messing up the address, and i have spoken to numerous client agents, but to no avail. This is a parcel of perishable food items that can't sit around too long, and it's been sitting around in their warehouse for two weeks now! This is just sheer incompetence. I am not impressed at all!
