With these people, I don't even know where to start, but first of all, they are very unfriendly people, they are rude, they have a bad attitude, they lie and most importantly they are very very very careless. They will loose your car keys, mix them around, they don't even have tags on the car keys, and they don't keep them in the office, they just drive around with a bunch of car keys in their pocket. They loose atleast 1 car key everyday. And they will brag to the wronged customers that we have plan B in taking you home to get your spare key. So they have made peace with loosing customers car keys and investing in taking them home to fetch spare keys, and just like that, your original car key is gone, they don't even know where it is. So if you don't have a spare key or it's very far, your car will just remain in the airport parking lot, get dust and just like that there is nothing they can do, they just move on to loose other people's car keys everyday. So please save yourselves, if you get your car key and car back, you're lucky and dont gamble with it again. You never know when it's going to be your that it's lost because everyday they loose it. I went to O R Tambo airport last night, 21 November, to pick up my son after a flight from Port Elizabeth. I waited on a backroad close to the airport until he phoned and said he is waiting at the pick up area. I drove into the terminals and stop at a demarcated parking spot. As I stopped, a young parking attendant came to my car and addressed me very rudely. He shouted to me that I should go wait for.my son in the parcade. However, my son was already at the vehicle, and I drove off within two minutes. I am not used to be treated this rudely. I paid a huge amount of airport tax when I bought my son's ticket and I parked in a dedicated parking spot. Why do the parking attendants treat people this way? Why are there demarcated parking spots at the terminal to pick up passengers if I am not allowed to park there? This was not the first time this happened. As far a possible, I will not buy a ticket for arrival or departure for OR Tambo airport again. The treatment at.O R Tambo is far below accepted standards. I have never been treated like this at Lanseria airport, which will now be my airport of choice. I hope tourist's from abroad is treated with more respect, other wise it is a very bad picture of South Africa.

On the 15 May 2023 went to drop of a friend at the Airport as it was the 1st time driving there..There was none visibility of Security to ask where to park we took all her belongings me and the other friend we went in and left them there within 5mins of coming back to the car i find my car clamped.I ask the Security Y was the car clamped he said I was not supposed to park there okay I understood and I asked him so where were u when I arrived here he said it's none of my business I must go Pay 2000 fine. I said to him but where should I take 2000 for a mere mistake of which if they where visible when we got there the wasn't gonna be such problem..I pleaded and so long he called one of his colleague who was rude to me for no apparent reason even swearing at me..I was traveling with a friend who had an operation 3days ago and I explained to them that I have to take this guy to the hospital for check up at the hospital they said u'll leave after paying 2000.It was 11:30 that time we stayed in the car trying to make calls to borrow the 2000 with no luck.It was cold and the friend was not feeling okay as he was bleeding because he had the operation I went and explain the situation to the security that I have a friend who's sick in the car and he supposed to go take treatment he told me to go **** myself I must come back to him only if I have a receipt 🧾 of 2000 payment. At around 3:30 the friend had mild seizures in the car and again I tried reasoning but still 😭😭 finally we got a help and wen to pay that 2000 at around 17:40 and the very same security officer who was rude to us took his time to unclamped the car.Today my friend his been admitted to ICU because of this *********** security officers.I wish u nothing but hell in ur lives.

This company is abusive, greedy, selfish, unethical and have no sympathy. My dota is a Up student, she asked friend to take her to the airport 385746F2, her friend also a student unfortunately parked in a dropoff zone and helped my dota with her bags and when he came back the car was clampled and they were charged a senseless fine of R2000, they tried to plead saying they are students they don't have money but the company couldn't budge My dota called me asking for help, where does one get 2k in an emergency in these times I contacted myself, and the friends parents had contact every one we know to borrow this money What an unethical way of making money, it doesn't make any sense, I mean you did not loose anything by the kids parking there, the pain of paying a fine more what you paid for the flight itself, I'm failing to understand and mire than anything I'm very angry, any company have rules and control but there are exceptions, discretion, and each case must treated on its own merit My question is where was security when they parked? I also work at a place where there demarcations in parking but security is there to guide ppl and if you park at a dropping zone security will there and then and tell you to move After all a fine of 2k for parking in tje wrong place is senseless, what is this 2k made up of And you could see that these are young kids they don't have money pay what were you expecting from them I'm broken and angry as we have go around looking for the money we don't have

Parking is absolutely Horrific. Always a problem at this airport. Ticket machines dont work or the management is too incompetent to assist you. Last Friday evening 01/07/2022 I mistakenly went into the wrong parking in which I was unable to reverse out of due to cars being behind me. In addition, signage is confusing and is only made worse in the evening. I was charged R510.00 for going into the parking. When speaking to the parking manager she stated that I would have to pay the amount as it is charged immediately when going into the parking Bay. She said that as an alternative I could always leave my car for 2 days and return to only pay R200. No logic at all. On returning to the ticket machine the security guard then proceeded to offer me a bribe in order to exit at a lower rate. On escalating the matter I was just redirected to the parking manager who has not responded to my email. Disgusting service.

On Monday 7 Feb 2022: My dad arrived at about 21H00 at domestic arrivals. I do not fly often and rely on the direction as per the overhead boards. I've entered a parkade with multiple signs on the road side but non indicating long term parking (pictures available). I've managed to fetch my dad and were at a pay station in about 25 minutes. The pay station registered an amount of R480 which I found absurd. The parking manager station explained that it was a long term parking, Well knowing that this was a clear mistake the airport did not seem to have an authorities customer agent available to assist. And stated that I can only leave the airport if I pay at least half of the R480. That was a lot of money to me and when paying the R240 the machine "cheated" me wit a further R20. This experience decreased my esteem of the International Airport (Oliver Tambo) significantly.

Their DISHONEST staff ruins it for the whole APS business! Will NEVER use APS again and will ensure the company does not use them for our staff either & will tell friends and family to avoid them too. We have used them for years so this was disappointing and disgusting service - the last straw. We accidentally left our cell phone in the car - when realising about 10 minutes after leaving, we called them to bring the car back which it had just left the building and did a circle back. They only have 2 people handling the vehicles and they both claimed innocence!! However, the cell phone cover was in the car and no cell phone in it - this is a miracle that it could just disappear in 10 minutes and it could have only been either of the 2 staff members!! On return to collect the vehicle other odds and sods were also gone ie. cubby tissues, pen, masks, minor stuff but it's annoying that you cant leave a thing and their APS staff take everything and plead innocence! APS needs to look at their honesty policy or they will lose a lot more business!
