Absolutely shocking service. After being told I would receive a refund by the gentleman at reception, they now refusing to pay me. I made a booking 10 minutes before arriving there, he in fact hadn't even seen it yet when I arrived. I realised I would not be able to book an uber the following morning as it was very far from the main entrance and a dirt road, my uber driver said the ubers would just cancel on me. So I asked if I could cancel and get a refund.... I was told its no problem, I must just cancel on the app and I'd get a refund. Being told today they not refunding me. Imagine that, stay far away from this place, if the lying starts at reception imagine the rest of the resort.

My Daughter and her niece wanted to spend 2 nights there. When we phoned they said they do offer game drives and the photos on the website looks great. We paid the amount for 2 nights, the booking was made the day before they went. Apon arrival this was not the case and the manager/guy at reception said they do not do game drives anymore, They also do not offer shuttles anymore and if my daughter want to go out she needs to use uber. Please note on the website when you make a booking they still show Airport shuttles available. There is litteraly no activities at this place. the rooms does not look as on the photos and there is not even a microwave or stove in the rooms. My daughter decided not to stay and requested a refund after which the reception said that they do not give refunds if it is on the day of arrival. what gets to us is that he did not even want to consider it because we booked the day before. i do not recommend this place to anybody and is highly disappointed with the service and place.

Good day I am not happy about the lodge I booked a chalet all of the sudden there's a loud music from staff houses and the lady screaming as well as a child they where speaking Sotho, we came here to relax not to listen to a GBV please manager or owner do something about that because you might get more review regarding the noise

Customer service is poor 1.No charging points for phones, had to unplug tv 2. I paid for ba service to surprise my partner, I didn't receive the service till I inquired. They prepared the surprise in my and my partner's presence. No apology was given. 3. The room is freezing cold, they refused to operate the fireplace on the last day of the stay. 4. The "private Chalet" is not private at all, it's in the middle of the everything and everyone. 5. MANAGEMENT DOES NOT GIVE A F*CK

Hi everyone I would highly recommend not to go Amadwala lodge. Staff are not helpful at all. We stood at the bar waiting 20min just for to order drinks. We wanted a quiet romantic dinner and stay and the lodge failed to tell us there were people filming. Everyone was loud and in our space. The tented camp was extremely hot inside, no fan could be provided, instead we got told there are heated blankets 🤦♀️after asking the lady at reception if we cancelled, booked out or rescheduled could we get any of our money back, she said no” and walked away. I was not on shocked by her rude attitude, she didn’t even bother to ask if everything was okay? Or can she do anything to help? We left and we will never return again. I hope management addresses this

Had a booking with the lodge for my partners birthday. Unfortunately we both got a bit sick and because of our line of work ended up testing for Covid. My partner tested positive, I later got mine however I was negative. As soon as his results were out I called to let them know and all I got was "unfortunately you forfeit the funds and cannot move your booking to much later". More than a year into the pandemic and we are subjected to such. We simply could have lied but because people's lives matter we chose honesty. Should you consider the place, with a high risk of possible infection. Don't even bother booking with them.

Hired the most expensive unit to be excluded from other people, and enjoy some time to rest, but what happend insted was people desturbing us all the time, this unit comes with your own private pool, that wasnt private at all, see picture attached, and we had people swimming in our pool aswell. This is unexceptable, wouldnt refer anyone to come here. And when I complained with the owner, all he did was just laughed at me. Please assist. I dont know how you can rate this place so high, as their standards was very low, not even to talk about the breakfast and the reviews of the other people om their page.
