THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE SINCE DAY ONE...THE MANAGER WAS FINISHING UP WITH HER NOTICE AS SHE WAS ASKED TO LEAVE AND WAS NOT WILLING TO HELP WITH ANYTHING. THE HUSBAND OF THE MANAGER TREATED US 2 LADIES WITH DISRESPECT FROM DAY ONE BECAUSE HE JUST PITCHED UP AT OUR FLAT BEFORE 8AM NOT ARRANGING THAT HIS COMING AND WE WERE STILL IN BED AND WHEN I ASKED THAT HE PLEASE LET US KNOW BEFORE HE COMES HE TOLD US TO LEAVE IT AND LEFT. NOW AFTER A WEEK THE OWNER OF THE PLACE TELLS US TO LEAVE BECAUSE WE ARRANGED FOR THE HOUSEKEEPER TO COME ON WEDNESDAYS AND SHE TELLS US SHE WILL COME TODAY EVEN THOUGH THE FLAT IS CLEAN. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME THEY WANT THE HOUSEKEEPER TO COME WHEN I PAID FOR HER BUT TO CLEAN A CLEAN FLAT!!!!! THE KNIVES DON'T WORK, I CAN'T EVEN CUT MYSELF. IT WAS A 3 DAY FIGHT JUST TO GET THE MAIN ROOM'S LIGHT FIXED. THE FLAT IS A SAUNA AND THE FANS DON'T WORK PROPERLY AND THEY ARE ALSO NOT WILLING TO FIX THAT...YOU DON'T EVEN FEEL A WIND STANDING UNDER IT AND WE GET TOLD IT WORKS PERFECT... OLD WHITE LADY CLAIMING SHE IS THE OWNER ARE SHOUTING AT US TELLING US WE ARE THE MOST DIFFICULT CUSTOMERS SHE HAD EVER HAD JUST BECAUSE WE WANT A SHARP KNIFE TO PREPARE FOOD, A FAN AND LIGHT THAT WORKS...AND A HOUSEKEEPER TO CLEAN WHEN WE PAID FOR IT...HOW IS THAT BEING DIFFICULT SURELY THIS IS BASIC SERVICE?????? I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANGUNA TO ANYONE!!!!!!! GO READ ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS ON HELLO PETER OF HOW PEOPLE WERE TREATED LIKE **** AND SHOUTED AT BY THE SAME OLD WHITE LADY!!!!!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY...ANGUNA DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE A ONE STAR!!!!!! IF IT IS SUCH A HUGE PROBLEM TO FIX THE STUFF IN THE FLAT WHY DON'T THEY JUST MOVE US TO ANOTHER FLAT THAT IS IN WORKING CONDITION. THE PLACE IS EMPTY ANYWAY SO IT'S NOT LIKE THEY DON'T HAVE THE FACILITY TO ASSIST.

The manager Susan is giving horrible service and is not even willing to fix a light in the main bedroom because it's going to cost her R450. We are here for 2 weeks and I will fall over the bed in the dark and break something then their cost will be much higher because I will sue. It was even a problem to ask the cleaning lady to come the day after they were supposed to come because we weren't here and the flat was clean. So we had to pay R200 for a clean flat to be cleaned just because she is too lazy to pick up a phone and change the date. Then the husband comes here before 8am without notifying us that he will come and then when I tell him to let us know before he comes because now we weren't dressed yet, he then gave us an attitude throwing his hand in the air to wave me off and say I must leave it and stormed off. This is the worst service I have ever gotten... Susan and her husband is making our holiday unbearable. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone UNLESS management changes!!!!!!

I booked the place. I was to leave Durban at about 17:00 to go to the place but unfortunately, I somethings to sort out. I communicated with the establishment that I will be there late at about 21:00. My phone battery finished just after sending that message. Mind you this place is a Self Catering Flat. I had a chance to charge my phone in the car, and turn it on when I had driven some distance. To my suprise when I was about to get to the place the supervisor called shouting asking me where I was. I was shocked because she was an old white lady. I was suprised because firstly I had played for the place and that is not a way to talk to a client. I got to the place, went up to the 2nd floor where the supervisor was hoping to collect the car. To my suprise she shouted at me again, I told her I was sorting a few things out in Durban thats why I am abit late. At that time it was about 22:30. She asked me how many of us are there I told her, because it is self catering place I cam with my children. She shouted again and said I only booked for 2 adults which was true. Then demanded that I pay for the children before I take the keys. I told her that I don't have cash on me for that but would gladly sort it out in the morning because it is late and I have been driving. She refused and spoke all sorts of things. I then came to a conclusion that I am cancelling this booking on the spot, because I was treated like I was not a human being. I am married, a husband of 3 children and that rude white lady because of the fact that I had booked their flat felt she could victimise me and speak whatever she wanted. I did not know where I was going to sleep that night, but that was way better then being at Anguna Holiday Flats. I booked through SafariNow and they are refusing to pay me back my money. No services were rendered because I was chased out, but they still have not agreed to pay my money back even though I did even see the room, neither slept even one day.

The holiday flat which we booked the weekend of 4-6 December 2015 got broken into. The tv belonging to the establishment was stolen as well as some of our personal belongings. The owners are holding us responsible for the stolen tv and refuse to refund us the deposit. They are accusing us of stealing the tv. They have not once apologized for the fact that someone broke into what was supposed to be a secure and safe holiday flat. Their attitude toward us when the tv was reported stolen was very arrogant and abrupt. The theft was reported to the police and a case was opened. The police office even pointed out to management how flimsy the locks were but management was adamant that no one could have gotten into the flat if it was locked.
