Formal Complaint – Misleading Advertising and *****ulent Product Substitution Takealot and Appetite SA, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a *****ulent and ********* transaction involving my recent purchase of the Deluxe Pap Maker from Takealot, supp**** by Appetite SA. Issue Summary I specifically purchased the Deluxe Pap Maker, as advertised on Takealot, believing I was paying for a superior product. However, upon receipt, I discovered that instead of the Deluxe version, an Original Pap Maker was deceptively placed inside the Deluxe packaging. This is a clear case of false advertising and product misrepresentation, which violates consumer rights and ethical business practices. Takealot & Appetite SA’s ********* Response When I reported this issue, instead of honoring my purchase by replacing the incorrect item with the actual Deluxe Pap Maker that I paid for, Takealot and Appetite SA have unilaterally decided to refund me, essentially dismissing my rightful claim. This response is completely unacceptable because: • I purchased the Deluxe version, not the Original version that was falsely packaged. • A refund does not correct the fact that I was misled into purchasing a falsely advertised product. • This sets a dangerous precedent where sellers can mislead customers, then simply offer refunds instead of rectifying the situation. My Demands: 1. Immediate Replacement – I demand that you replace the incorrect product with the actual Deluxe Pap Maker, as per the original purchase. 2. Accountability & Investigation – I expect a formal investigation into this misleading practice and an explanation of how a different product was placed into a Deluxe box. If this issue is not resolved to my satisfaction, I will escalate my complaint further: • Consumer Protection Authorities – I will report this case to the relevant regulatory bodies for false advertising and *****ulent substitution of goods. • Legal Action – If necessary, I will seek legal counsel regarding my rights under consumer protection laws. This is an urgent matter, and I expect a formal response within 7 business days, confirming that you will provide the correct product as initially purchased. So i placed an order for delivery using the Appetite App at Nandos Alberton Crossing. 10-15mins later i get a call from their call center to say they don't do deliveries from Nandos anymore and that i should call the store to place an order for delivery. So i asked them why do they still have the store advertized on the app and he told me that they are in the process of removing Nandos from the app. As a customer its not my problem that they still have the store on the app and if they had good customer service they would have made a plan to get the food to me even if it was this 1 time but the guy was so anti helping me so i will never use this app again and if anyone from their head office would like to chat to me they can private message me for my details.

<p>Dint waist your time using this app. I ordered food via the app at 7pm but they can only deliver 2hours later at 9pm according to the order confirmation! To make things worse they only give you delivery time after you pay and there is no option to cancel! So you cant go out and buy something else for supper! I must wait 2 hours for "fast" food!</p>

<p>I ordered food from Nandos lambton via the Appetite delivery service. The driver who delivered my order didn't have change on him. He gave me the numbers to call the Nandos manager to assure me that he would bring the change later but the phone was not picked up. I called Appetite again to find out if I should hold on to the money while the driver gets change or if I should give him the money and wait for him to return change. A lady by the name of Tanya at Appetite asked to speak to the delivery guy. </p> <p>After i gave him the phone I could still hear her while she was speaking to the driver. She was unreasonably shouting at the man like he was a 5 yr old, or worse. Screaming like crazy. I grabbed the phone and asked her how could she address an adult in that manner. I was so disgusted by the way she handled the whole thing. </p> <p> </p> <p>I called to get direction not to complain about my change. </p> <p>You can be firm and address your employees when their wrong but nothing gives you the right to talk to them like they're not human. I will never use their service again.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was informed later that she wanted to fire the guy after the incident. What an injustice.</p> <p>#blacklivesmatter </p>
