horrible... I didn't expect this. I saw this on Hyperli and knowingly how expensive car service is. I advise my partner that that you can get it for half the price that they are charging. It was not only that he had to sit there almost hours, then they advised they are awaiting on a part of the car that's needed. This extended the services. Finally, it was done, the service was Monday, 22nd July 2024. Yesterday, 26.07.202024. on the N2 late the bottom part of the at the from came loose and something fell off in front and this couldn't leave us in great danger in the dark. Had to drive very slowly in the rain and make sure we get home safe. We got home and a piece of the bottom car at the front came loose or fell off. I can't really tell. Do NOT waste your money, even with your Hyperli discount. I guess its true what they say. Going for cheap route will bite you. I ended up blaming myself as I advised him of them and promoted.

This is one of the worse Auto Repair Shop ever, I took my car for fan belt, a bottle cap and water pump replacement only, the car did not have any other issues, They charged me R2330 1) I left the car with them for a day, the following day, I did not receive any feedback call, I then called the work shop, they told me the car was ready, when I got there, I noticed the engine light was on, (1st problem)* they said its the AC problem, they tried to clear the warning sign, it disappeared, I drove about 1km, the engine light went on again, I phoned them and informed them, the following day, I drove the car to town, but before I reach the workshop, I had a big bang to the engine, The top radiator hose bust. (2nd problem)* I took the car in again, they told me to buy a new one, They charged me R990 for the Top radiator hose and replaced it. They said the reason why the engine light is on its because the oxygen sensors are faulty and need to be replaced, (3rd problem)* each cost R2000. When they are attempting to fix or should I say when they are trying to show me that they are fixing issues, I noticed my radiator fan was broken, they told me it was already broken I need a new one, (4th problem) Briefly speaking, the engine light still on, I took the car to my preferred workshop for diagnostic, they told me, the oxygen sensors were replaced they put faulty one, the water pump was not replaced, still making noise in the morning, the water is boiling, worse experience ever, they are thieves, Do not take your car to these low life people, they will damage it, No customer service,They are also not experienced, they are just chance takers, My car is not longer the same ever since I took it from them. Please pass this message to your colleagues friends and family, inform them about this bad workshop in Town. I will campaign against this bad workshop until I see some good changes. I am a Google Local Guide, Level 6 with over 81042 views. Also in additional FYI Cape Town Google Maps Local Guide Forum is now well aware of these bad experiences and illegal practices at this particular bad auto repair shop in Town. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I will never recommend Arnold's Auto to anyone. I have taken my car here twice, and have had a total of two terrible experiences. As a young-ish girl it became immediately clear that they were trying to rip me off... I caught them out twice on my last experience; firstly they tried to over-charge me for parts, and secondly they tried to recharge me for parts which were replaced BY THEM a year ago. When this appalling and crooked behaviour was called out, the owner (Ashley) got incredibly aggressive. Once again - DO NOT GO TO ARNOLD'S AUTO, THEY ARE ABSOLUTE CROOKS!

I caught them out twice on my last experience; firstly they tried to over-charge me for parts, and secondly they tried to recharge me for parts which were replaced BY THEM a year ago. When this appalling and crooked behaviour was called out, the owner (Ashley) got incredibly aggressive. Once again - DO NOT GO TO ARNOLD'S AUTO, THEY ARE ABSOLUTE CROOKS!

Have taken my cars to Arnold's since October 2009. The owner sold the business in the last couple of months but my bakkie was due for a service so it went in on Thursday 15 November 2018. We were informed that the clutch needed to be replaced - it was previously replaced on 30-10-2016 and 33900 km earlier which I told them. We needed our vehicle on Saturday17-11-2018 but unfortunately it wasn't, causing major disruption in our lives. The car was collected on Monday at 11:45 but there was a gearbox noise (the gearbox was overhauled by the same company on 30-11-2016) so we took it back. By Wednesday 21 November nothing had been done so we insisted that we wanted our vehicle back, which to their credit they delivered to our house. The complete disinterest by the manager and owner throughout this ordeal was horrific. We had paid our account and were then told that the gearbox wasn't touched by them - one just knows they are already making excuses and this is going nowhere! The bottom line is that we were caught and it cost us a lot of money, and were carless for exactly a week - DON'T EVEN TRY THIS COMPANY. If you want we can show you proof etc., call me on ********** .
