I had the most shocking experience with Michelle, her young sister & the Team. We paid R11,000 + for packing & unpacking. Michelle left the packing team at lunchtime and did not return until 5pm that afternoon to see to unpacking. Among my many complaints: Possessions were dumped every ehich way into boxes, unwrapped. Several items were broken, including a very special candlestick which they tried to 'glue' together with old, tacky prestik from one of my fridge magnets. I was then told ... it had always been broken. There were 2 trucks involved so I had to leave with the 1st to open up my new residence & supervise that load of unpacking which I also had to do until 5pm because Michelle had a meeting in Randburg of which I had not been informed of otherwise I would have made booking for the next day! I was quite flexible. Oh and they also LOST one of a pair if brand new curtains still unopened in their plastic bags. The horror continues as both girls had NO idea of how to unpack. Which was strange as they'd come on the Sunday before to pack up the kitchen & my clothes so they could see how everything was laid out. I have photos of every awful thing! In every dealing I've had over the past few weeks with plumbers, painters, handyman, installers suppliers & deliveries I have never ever been so shocked at shoddy & careless service! No apologies either ... we were basically told 'read the fine print not our problem!' Be warned - they take NO responsibility for damages or 'loss' of goods! I'd give them NO stars! Still traumatized. Eventually I told the sisters to GO and I re-did what they'd unpacked & continued over the next couple of days to do the job myself! R11.000+ down the drain 😭

If you want your already stressful moving day to get worse, hire Artpink. The moving truck was 6 hours late (you heard that correctly) forcing us to work into the night. This was due to a double booking by a very incompetent admin assistant. Furthermore the owner of the company, Michelle, is incredibly rude. After we paid the deposit she berated us for not making it instant (which would have cost us more). Then once the delivery truck finally arrived at our new home she instructed the crew not to offload our goods until we paid the rest of the fee. This after very poor service delivery. She still decided to hold us hostage. Her poor crew were disheartened as well since they had to work overtime (without pay, food or drink). I would recommend anyone other than Artpink.

Whilst the drivers and packers were great - very professional and lovely to deal with, the admin and operations left much to be desired. Somehow they were double booked on the day that we needed to move. Instead of making appropriate plans, they made us wait most of the day for the moving truck - shifting the ETA multiple times. They were not communicative at all, requiring us to make multiple phone calls and text to find out the status. All in all, a terrible experience! Moving is stressful and tiring enough without unreliable service. Do not recommend!
