Buying a car is supposed to be exciting, right? Well, not if you buy from Ford Bruma! My experience started with a salesman who seemed to have missed the memo on customer service. I thought, “Okay, maybe he’s just having a bad day.” But nope! Turns out, it’s a company-wide sport to be unhelpful. A month into owning my car, the boost pipe decided it had had enough and burst. No big deal, I thought, I have a motor plan! Silly me. When I went back to get it sorted, the salesman passed me on to the manager, and wow, talk about a plot twist! If I thought the salesman lacked professionalism, the manager took it to the next level. It was like a relay race of bad service. At this point, I realized something: these guys don’t just provide poor service... they specialize in it. The level of not caring was almost impressive. If I was looking to buy a car that wasn’t unique, I’d have run for the hills and never dealt with them. But alas, here I am, regretting why such a beauty of a car was sold at this dealership. It deserved better, and so did I. If you enjoy being ignored, given the runaround, and feeling like an inconvenience instead of a customer, Ford Bruma is the place for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and buy a donkey it might be more reliable and come with better after-sales support!

I would like to thank Barlow World Ford Bruma for the excellent service they have provided to both my Mustang and myself. They are the only ford dealership that have offers me a courtesy car. May they grow in strength!

I bought a Ford Ranger bakkie at Ford Bruma in July 2019. Amongst other benefits, I was told the bakkie had an extended warranty up to 150000km of July 2023, which ever comes first. I did my first service under the Extended Service Plan without issues. However, when I went for the second service I was told the Extended Service Plan only covers one service. When I asked why was I not told, the sales guy told me he didn't know. At some point during the purchase, the Financials lady sent an email which state the 150000km and July 2023 as my terms of Extended Service Plan, there is no mention of one visit.

Something is terrible wrong there, my vehicle was booked in for aircon inflator recall.I took the vehicle in and left it the whole day, when i fetched the vehicle in the afternoon i was told nothing was done because they do not have parts, why did they book it in if they did not have parts,I did not just wake up and took my car there,it was pre-booked.When I fetched my carI noticed that my key had a scratch somebody must have dropped it, no one told me luckily i saw it immediately when a service agent gave it to me and i asked to see a service manager. All i got from the manager was a mere apology. When i got to the vehicle i noticed a red paint on my door, imagine my car is white, they called someone from washing bay to wipe the paint off using a certain polish, indeed that polish removed the paint. This was on 28/4/2021.I did not take the vehicle back to them as I am worried what else will go wrong on my vehicle.I receibed a call the following day rating their service and i was honets that im extremelu not happy.Today 14/5/2021,two weeks later i receive another call from Ford they want me to rate their service, i asked the caller which service are you referring to because i gave feedback two weeks ago.She said regarding the service that was done on my vehicle yesterday.Really, i never took my vehicle to them yesterday, i have completely lost trust in them.

Recently traded in a car for a new one at this establishment , on the 8th of October they made sure they went out of their way to get the deal done, now the trouble started when they had to settle my car and pay me back the balance, I was told that I will be paid money into my bank account within three business days, sadly till today the 15th of October the car I traded in hasn’t been settled even though I told them the settlement amount was valid for seven days, i am being told money has to be requested from head office and when I do the follow ups I am still told that they haven’t been given the requested funds they yet to make another request , You only treat clients when it benefits you for pushing sale not client satisfaction

I took my brand new ford ranger double cab as it picked up a problem with the park sensor and the bonnet lining a few times and they sent back with same fault . They couldn’t pick it up even after showing photos and videos of the fault . As fir the bonnet lining they refused to fit it as I didn’t purchase the vehicle from them and I gave the salesman the opportunity to match or beat the deal before buying from Klerksdorp. The manager was arrogant enough to give me a letter stating they cannot fix or replace a warranty part and I must take it to the dealership of purchase. Ford bruma is less than 1 km from place off residence. Never went back . Useless arrogant . Why doesn’t ford state you cannot send your vehicle to any dealership once purchased.
