Very poor customer service
Purchased an alcoholic beverage to an amount of R148.00 at an establishment but the cashier refused to give out the beverage as he claimed my debit card was faulty.

If you need FRESH CLEAN EGGS DON'T!! BUY AT BARNEYS
A while ago I bought Barneys Eggs at Checkers. They only stock Barney Eggs. They did not have X Large I was forced to buy Large. 2 days later when I opened the eggs it was disgustingly soiled and very dirty. I took pictures and googled the company and said I think I must send a Health Inspector as the eggs was dirty rotten and smelly. The lady contacted me, apologised and said I must take it back to Checkers and she will replace them with 2 X Large trays to say sorry. I am a pensioner but eventually got a ride to checkers with a friend. Monay again I bought n a "special" X Large eggs, same old same when I opened it the eggs was old, in fact it had a hard piece in the middle I tried the 2nd 3rd 4th 5th all the same. I REALLY NOW AM GOING TO CONTACT A HEALTH INSPECTOR TO DO AN UNINFORMED INSPECTION ON THIS FARM. Now again I have to ask someone to take met to Checkers to return the eggs and this time for a REFUND. DON'T BUY BARNEYS EGGS, save yourself a lot of frustration and hustle and inconvenience. Excellent reception. Unexpected Family atmosphere
Excellent reception. Unexpected Family atmosphere, a welcome to ALL adults, Not your everyday 'Drinking Hole'. A group of 17 arrived for a Breakfast after our Park Run Event, Now Hungry and 'run out of steam' we went for the First Time as a Group to Barneys Tavern along Willow Road. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and shown to our Reserved tables in the extension, as it was rather windy and chilly, the staff offered to close off the area with the windbreakers and set up gas heat lamps. The Manageress Letricha Blignaut came with some Special Caps, Beenies and to top it all a Barneys Tracksuit Top as one of our Team Runners just had on a thin top. Wow! What a wonderful surprise. For sure Barney Tavern had made a huge impression upon all. Click! Click! photos were taken. The Team will in the future Park Runs be wearing the Caps and Beanies not to mention the Sp. Track Top, all thanks to the Promotion Gifts. The Breakfast Special was well worth every cent, in total I'm sure that everyone would be taking their Friends to visit and have a Meal (and refreshments). Thanks to their experiences today.

Selective Service
Went for lunch on Saturday the place seemed busy. Sat for about 30minutes and no waiter came over to take my order. I tried to flag them but they seemed busy even the bartender seemed busy. A couple of gentlemen walked in after me and the waiters I tried to flag immediately rushed to hand them menus and take their order. I was abit shocked then I read the room. My skin colour was different from theirs. Cut my losses and left

Worst pizza at Barneys Beachfront Port Elizabeth.
Worst pizza ever at Barneys beachfront Port Elizabeth.Ordered Regina pizza take away for R90 which wasn’t even worth half the price.Thin base with minimal cheese,dried out mushrooms and three microscopic peace’s of ham.Had no flavor and tasted like cardboard.Total rip-off.

Although the food at Barneys is pretty good, the price of the wine is off the clock. R140 for a bottle of Darling white wine or R120 for a bottle of Graca. The beers are also not cheep at R40 for 500ml Castle draught. Why do these places not realise that they cannot rip people off like that. I will not go back there.

Barney’s Tavern Lorraine
Ordered two pizzas for takeaway at around R150 each. Very expensive. Didn’t arrive with chopped chillis like they said it would. Took one bite and knew something wasn’t right, the taste was so awful I got sick. I think something on the pizza might’ve been off. Do not recommend their pizza.
