If you consider to have your child's laser tag birthday party at Battle Zone in Brightwater Commons, I would strongly advise you to seek another venue and spare yourself buckets full of frustration. I have been battling since 6 August to book a party for 15 August. If the phone isn't endlessly ringing with no one answering, I am told their system is out of order and they wait on a company in NZ to fix their software remotely. I even went there in person and was shown that their computer was under construction. I asked them why they don't keep a desk diary to sync the bookings on their system, but was informed that this is the digital era and they don't operate like that. They could also not give me a time frame of when the system will be working, due to the time zone differences between SA and NZ! I told the manager Grant that I am then contacting another laser tag venue for the party, and he told me that I can do whatever I want and go ahead and enjoy it. They really don't need the public's money or a back-up system when their software crashes or during loadshedding... So battle forth guys, best of luck to your business!

Hi I would like to express my disappointment with Battlezone. They have employed incompetant staff who cannot handle simple bookings. I personally dealt with Jan ( ********** ). Background I made an online booking via the website (http://www.battlezone.co.za/) for the 30 December 2018. Just to get confirmation, I phoned both numbers(on the 24th December) to get a confirmation for the 30 December at the Sloane Street Venvue. Jan answered and told me that the online booking does not work, but he can confirm my booking. I phoned again on the 27th December to confirm my booking and Jan mentioned, all was confirmed. By this time I had made alot of preparations and sent out all my invites for my sons birthday. on the 28th December I drove to the Sloane Street venue and met one of the employees. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name. I told him of my booking as well and he told me all was fine. Now; on my sons birthday when I arrive with all my with my guests and all party preparations, on site at the Sloane street venue, we find that the gates are locked. Nobody is answering their cellphones. I had to make about 15-20 calls to Jan before he answered. Then Jan tells me, there was a miscommunication on my side and there is nothing he can do. This is after i confirmed TWICE and went on site at the SLOANE Street branch. Jan mentioned is a very arrogant way that he has me booked at the Pretoria branch. Why would I travel to Pretoria, if I live in Fourways. My son was very disappointed on his birthday. I will never be using Battlezone for any business/personal event and would advise all my colleagues to do the same.
