Being manhandled at the beershack as a lady by a male bouncer was very humiliating. We brought in a bottle, not knowing it’s not allowed. They confiscated our bottle of Tanqueray, and didn’t want to give it back. We didn’t mind being thrown out of the club, but them confiscating our bottle is unlawful. There is nowhere written that should we bring in our own bottle, we will not get it back. Left without getting our full bottle of Tanqueray back.

Stopped iby one afternoon for a snack and drink after a hectic day in Port Elizabeth. When I drove pass there was always a good vibe and people which says its popular. Service was great Anda and her colleagues attention was brilliant. The chicken wings are nice and spicy and definitely worth a try. The drinks were good but the steel works needs some work. The music was great and the place had a great vibe paired with great service means that I will return when next in town.

When an organisation is supposed to host international guests, the staff of that organisation should not behave racistly. The staff stole our order, behaved us like the way they had behaved and at the end the bouncers threw us out. No one listened to us. There are recorded videos of what happened there. This place should be closed ASAP.

Good morning, I had one of the most awful expiriences at Beershack in Port Elizabeth. At about 02:30, 1 April 2018, a friend and I decided to visit the restaurant / night club to grab a bite to eat and have a good time. Upon approaching the entrance, the bouncer at the door requested to see if our wrists are stamped, as an indication that we've payed the entrance fee. Of course, we hadn't yet as we were arriving, he directed us to a lady seated behind a table who was meant to charge us the admission fee, which were willing to pay and to our understanding, it was R80. The lady then signaled to his bouncer collegue that the admission fee was no longer being charged and we're free to enter the premesis. As we returned to the first bouncer who intially recieved us, we're momentarily met with a second bouncer, who barred our entrance into the club. Naturally, we're confused as to why we're now being told not to enter the establishment, and as I tell the second bouncer that the lady seated at the table permitted us to enter, he goes on to grab me by my shoulder's, demanding we leave Beershack, because according to the first bouncer "you laughed at him". Within this moment, one of the staff pushes my friend out of the entrance, forcing him to stand on the sidewalk, to which he obliged without protest. A third bouncer enquires about the issue and as I stood aside with him to explain the poblem we're having, I continue to reiterate that, my friend and I, have no problem paying the entrance fee. At this point, he leaves us to speak with his first two bouncer colleagues and seconds later, he returns to tell us that we're now permitted to enter the club. At this moment, i request to speak with the owner / manager ( someone with authority) for this unnecessary mistreatment of patrons. The third bouncer goes on to tell me "No, you are not allowed to speak to the manger". CCTV footage will attest to my complaint, at this point, the third bouncer, demands that we leave the establishment "You poor mother****ers" further claiming that this is not his only job and "I make more money than you" (reffering to me). As it stands, I am still perplexed as to the events that transpired outside the Beershack club and as such, request a formal apology from mamagement and the aforementioned staff who unnecessarily assualted my friend and I. I request the mangement to view CCTV footage, that corroborates my complaint.

Usually beershack is a nice place to go. But since the owner decides to book tables for his friends on a very busy area who decides not to show up after an hour and a half they still wont release the tables to the customers because its the \bosses table"which is pathetic way to show your customers how much you care for their business """
