Beetroot stealing your money and furniture
Paid a R5000. deposit three weeks ago, truck fetched our double seater couch for refurbishment and only now we find out people are scammed out of their money and goods for months. How can you professionally answer emails over weekends giving quotes and procedures knowing that your door are closed. I have the truck on camera collecting the furniture and will be forced to report theft against directors of the company.

Stole my money!
Ordered R2700 table online, received order number and email stating it had gone into production. A few days later received an email from them to say they are closed and have no money to pay their creditors. Called Tablebay mall where they have a store to be told that they closed without notice and disappeared - they owe the mall money too.

Stole my money!
Ordered R2700 table online, received order number and email stating it had gone into production. A few days later received an email from them to say they are closed and have no money to pay their creditors. Utter rubbish!!! Ordered a R2750 piece on 8th APRIL and paid in full. Delivery was scheduled for 7th May and rescheduled to 14th May. Received an informal email Sunday stating the business is closed and that I will not be refunded although they opened up a new business in April in table bay. I drove to the business today in Menlyn Maine no sign of living at the factory. As per the other reviews, This business took a lot of people for granted. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. I HOPE BEETROOT INC 'S OWNER WILL GET WHAT THEY DESERVE

BEETROOT BUNCH OF LIARS!!!
I never thought the day would come that I need to badmouth a business on social media, but after Beetroot STOLE almost R10k from us I need to stand up and say that this is not the end of it. I will get legal advice and will go as far as I can to get these people responsible behind bars. If there are anyone who want to take this further please feel free to contact me at 0722224333.

BEETROOT BUNCH OF LIARS!!!
I never thought the day would come that I need to badmouth a business on social media, but after Beetroot STOLE almost R10k from us I need to stand up and say that this is not the end of it. FRAUD!!!
I am so upset. I have many family and friends that have ordered furniture from Beetroot inc. So when I got married in April my husband and I took some of our money that we got from our wedding and bought a bedroom set at Beetroot for the value of up to R13 383.50 on the 29th of April. I received an email back from the company saying that it takes 6weeks for them to make the furniture as they do not stock these items. I waited patiently until this week Monday and started to get concerned as I have not heard from them. Today at approximately 10:45am I received and email claiming that the company closed its doors and they will not refund my money. I will attach the letter that I received from them. This broke my heart. How can they get away with this? We've tried contacting several employees as well as the owner of Beetroot just to find a dead end. They're website still continues to function as normal and you can still place online orders. Someone needs to put a stop to this.

Ordered online - a wingback chair in March 2021, everything online was straight forward and got invoice. I waited for some sort of correspondence and eventually chased to be told the fabric was complete and they were waiting for the chair... I chased 2 weeks later to be told delivery would be scheduled for early part of the following week. Sadly I heard nothing (see a pattern developing here?) so I emailed and called and eventually was told they were waiting on the fabric..... (hang on wasn’t this completed weeks ago?) On 14th May I received an email from beetroot... we’ve gone out of business as they don’t have any money. Utter shambles from start to finish... I’ve lost my money and a chair. I don’t know if there is a way of claiming my money back but I went to the address in Pretoria which was a locked up warehouse... (thought maybe I might be able to speak to someone). Website / Facebook all taken down. No answer with number. No response to emails. If anyone has any kick tracking down the director let me know!
