DISGUSTING SERVICE
My wife and & I had lunch at the Bihari Restaurant in Newlands Cape Town, we have been frequenting there for a number of years but on Sunday it was disastrous, the table service was disastrous, the food was to the table was cold and took forever, the order from the bar was not what we ordered, sent the food back it was returned all burnt, not a waitron around to complain and finally spoke to the manager with no response, wrote them an email to highlight their short comings and received a reply to say they were busy and were sorry, how is that for customer service, there customer service is shocking and will not be going back there, there are many Indian restaurants around Cape Town and their food is equal or better than Bihari, was the worst celebratory lunch we have ever had Gitendra Kassen

A Taste of India in the Suburbs
A sensational taste experience! This is the perfect place for a date night if you want to get your curry on! Every curry on the menu is delicious! We love the garlic naan bread and Bombay potato to go with it. The chefs behind those kitchen doors know what they are doing and trust me, they will not disappoint! #SupportLocal

Food poisoning
On Christmas Day we ordered a Curry and Biryani for dinner, it tasted horrible, we where so dissapointed and decided there and then that we'll just never eat there again, cause we don't really see the point in complaining as one never get anywhere. Anyways, I fell so ill that night, vomiting, diarrhea, muscular pains and fever, my husband decided to phone them the next day out of anger and frustration of my illness and wanted to be compensated, the manager said she'll get back to us as she had to phone the general manager I think. The woman phoned me today to hear the story and told me that she doesn't believe it was her food as she had no other complaints and the reason the curry didn't taste nice, is cause it was not to my liking, honestly! I eat chicken tikka masala curry all the time, I'm not an idiot. It tasted off. She made me feel like a complete idiot and made me feel like I was lying and of course mentioned nothing about a refund. I am extremely disappointed in this place, will never eat there again, and will tell everyone I know about my situation. I was so sick, and feel so angry that I had to go through that and then had to be treated like an idiot!

I SIMPLY love Bihari! The food is always high standard and the front reception and staff are always so chirpy, and not forgetting to mention - PROFESSIONAL.<br> <br> I simply love you guys, keep up the awesome job!
