I hope you are well. I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the extremely poor experience my group of 17 people had at your restaurant on Mother’s Day. Gold Reef City Billy G Unfortunately, the food and service were very disappointing: * The beef stew was not properly cooked. * The oxtail had a very unpleasant smell and tasted as though the meat was old. * The chicken was dry and had no taste. * The meat overall was not well cooked and had a funny smell. * Two members of our group became sick and vomited after eating. * For a table of 17 people, we were only given one jar of water. * The service from the staff was very poor throughout our visit. This experience was unacceptable, especially for an occasion meant to celebrate Mother’s Day. We paid expecting quality food, good service, and the “special” experience we were told about, but unfortunately none of this was delivered. Kind regards, [Vuyo]

Absolutely terrible experience. We booked a section the private area for my mum's 72 Birthday. Worst decision of my life. Her evening was completely ruined. The other group that booked next to us, took over the entire section without any consideration. They had large photographic equipment, bright flashes and the worst part is they had their own programme that took over an hour that was so loud that we could not even hear ourselves. Their entire programme ran from around 19:15 to 9:15pm. During this time they even closed the door to the private section limiting our movements. We complained politely to the staff, nothing was really done as their actions continued. Only up until about 5mins before they actually stopped did someone from your management speak to them, didn't stop them, didn't advise them of their utter inconsideration, just spoke to them. Around 9:15pm they stopped and then we were allowed to freely move, the buffet was closing up at 10pm. We were 15 paying customers you were trapped in a corner unable to enjoy my mum's birthday because Billy G and their staff lacked the consideration and competency to deal with an absolutely ********** situation. My mum cried almost the entire night. Thank you Billy G for totally ruining a 72 year olds birthday. I WILL NEVER EVER VISIT, SUPPORT OR RECOMMEND YOUR ESTABLISHMENT, in fact, I WILL ALL I CAN DO DISSUADE ANYONE FROM VISITING.

I left the restaurant questioning myself about the quality of food served. The Diarrhea my family and I experienced right before leaving the casino was concerning. Worse because other diners complained about the very same thing. Montecasino is 100 times better

Be aware of **** going on in this business. Staff member may ask for your credit card details to “process a refund” after you’ve paid a deposit. No legitimate company should ever ask for your full card details for a refund. Staff members have forms to fill in for all your card details. Very suspicious

Urgent Complaint Regarding Incorrect Booking – Billy G Gold Reef City Dear Billy G Gold Reef City Management, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a serious issue with my recent booking. I personally visited Billy G Gold Reef City to view the venue and was provided with booking details. Upon returning home, I completed the booking process and made payment in good faith, believing I was booking with Gold Reef City. Unfortunately, I have since discovered that, without my knowledge, my booking was processed under Billy G Montecasino instead. This has caused a major problem, as my guests and I were under the clear impression that the event would be held at Gold Reef City. Invitations have already been sent out, and preparations are underway with Gold Reef City as the chosen venue. To make matters worse, I have now been informed that Gold Reef City is fully booked and unable to cater for my event. This situation is highly distressing and unfair, as it was not due to any fault or negligence on my part. I urgently request that management intervene to: 1. Honor my booking at Gold Reef City despite the error, or 2. Provide an immediate and fair alternative solution that does not disrupt my confirmed plans, guests, and commitments. This matter is extremely time-sensitive and has already caused unduestress and inconvenience. I trust that Billy G will take full responsibility for this error and assist me in resolving it urgently. I look forward to your immediate response. Visited the branch today to follow up and i was didnt find Joy

The food was very disappointing 😞 it was slightly off not fresh at all it was a horrible experience our stomachs was paining, working and I even vomiting the food is old I will never return to that restaurant we pain to be sick 😫 worse it was on my birthday

On the 15 of of November we had the pleasure of dining at this establishment for a group of 25 colleagues. The service was ok. Paid the bill. Later to find they had overcharged us by a little over R500 Enquired with the restaurant only to be told they can't see any error from their side. It's really disappointing as we have receipts that show we were overcharged but to them it's a mystery.

I would like to say Hi to the best service I got at Billy G, I wouldn’t mind going back there again. The food was amazing and not to forget the lovely environment, moving onto the ****tails 🍹 the 10/10 is the deserving. Thanks Billy G Gold Reef City.
