I recently had my BMW service completed at BMW Pinetown, I was assisted by Ashleena and Glen, I want to compliment these two individuals for the manner in which they assisted me and their outstanding service, It was a pleasure dealing with them and the overall Pinetown team, Thank you

“Let me begin by saying, I have been a loyal customer of BMW Pinetown for many years, having purchased all of my Bike Accessories and Clothing from them as well as having them rebuild one my bikes for me in excess of R150,000.00. Their service has been second to none and I have always been happy to recommend them to family and friends until very recently. I purchased a set of BMW Gravel boots from BMW Pinetown a while back with the intention of using them on my next adventure trip. Needless to say they sat in my cupboard for a long time as work and life did not allow me to utilize them until September 2023. My wife and I, planned a road trip from KZN to the Western Cape. Everything was planned out, routes and stops sorted and so I took my shiny, BMW Gravel boots out the cupboard, excited to use them for the first time. All was going well and the boots fit perfectly, until the third day of our trip, I noticed the seam on the toe of my left boot had torn. I was perturbed by this event but planned to resolve it upon my return with the belief that BMW Pinetown would assist accordingly. I contacted BMW Pinetown upon my return and reported what must surely be a factory defect, as the boots had only been worn three times, only for them to tell me that the boots were out of warranty and there was nothing they could do except offer me replacement boots at cost price. I find myself disappointed by this response, being a BMW Motorrad Enthusiast and longtime customer of theirs to receive this response on one of their products that has CE - EN-16364-2015 Approval for Robustness and Safety.”

i bought my car(used) in July 2023 at BMW pinetown my sales person was Basil. Now i need to take my car for service in richard’s bay as it is the nearest branch. at richards bay i was told that they must release the ownership so they can be able to assist me. several calls were made begging them(pinetown) to do it it’s almost 2 weeks now. Basil says he doesn’t work there anymore, the lady Glenda that was supposed to assist me is not helping including her manager. i’m about to pay R3000 again for something that they were supposed to do long time ago. at some point i was told the couldn’t capture my details on their system only to find out that they typed my iD number wrong from the first place

If you want great service and having your mind at ease when purchasing a brand new BMW, DO NOT GO TO BMW PINETOWN. We recently purchased a brand-new vehicle from this franchise and we experienced atrocious service from confirming the purchase, to delivery to registration of the vehicle and after care. The service and treatment were so appalling we lacked all enthusiasm and excitement on day of delivery and we continued receiving unprofessional service regarding registration of the vehicle and repair of a lip that was dented on the day of delivery by the franchise. We totally regret doing business with this franchise. There was endless empty promises and no consideration of the time that I as a customer had to endure, On several occasions I was promised they would be at my premises to sort the vehicle at a certain time, and then no one would call or arrive, I would then have to call in to receive feedback. Eventually at 5pm they arrived, after I rescheduled my entire day to accommodate them. At this stage, I was no longer frustrated but more disgusted that this was the service from BMW! Then we called BMW SOUTH AFRICA on the 19/11/2021 to initiate a complaint about BMW PINETOWN, we were advised a case number was opened and an investigation will be completed. As at the 24/11/2021 at 4pm, I received no communication from BMW SA. Coincidentally, at 4.05pm someone from BMW SA called me to ask about the new vehicle and the service. She was unaware of the complaint, until she noticed it on system and promised the person handling it will call me back. She also confirmed their turnaround time with feedback is 24hrs and I should have received some feedback by then. When I did received that call the person confirmed he made a mistake. Absolutely pathetic for a brand of this size and nature. I guess we small fish don’t matter, even though I have been a loyal customer of the brand for 14yrs!!!! Never again will I support BMW and finally I am convinced another German car manufacturer will appreciate the business...
