I bought a bmw @ imperial select in 2018. Since then I had numerous problems. First it was the cluster which they did replace (twice), then the head lights, then the car battery,, then the spare key then the boot and the list goes on. ect. I have submitted a claim to the umbutsman but still no feedback. Today my car broke once again and no one can assist as the car is no longer under warranty. I love BMW but this really makes me want to change to a different brand. Still noices in my car and now the dieself tank....m when will it ever stop? They cant even assist a little bit as it's not their problem anymore. Very upset with this model as this vehicle was a problem since the beginning. I really need someone to assist and sort this matter for once and for all. BMW F30, 320d. Very very very upset as I had a e90 and had no problems. Then the newer models does this. Is ridiculous

I have purchased a 2013 VW Golf 7 GTI(DW29GFGP) from BMW Clearwater on the 31/05/2019, Sales person (Elias Dube). I was advised that the vehicle has spare key before the sale. The day after I took the vehicle a keyless warning appeared on the vehicle display, I immediately took a picture of this and WhatsApp it to Elias Dube and he responded by telling me that BMW Clearwater will have this issue resolved and that he would contact me to bring the vehicle to the BMW Dealership. A month passed and I still haven’t received any feedback, I then messaged Elias Dube to follow up on the License Disk, Spare key and the Keyless issue which was supposed to be sorted and he once again said that he will call me to have the vehicle booked in and that BMW Clearwater will have a New key made for me at VW Constantia Kloof seeing that they cannot recover the spare key from their client. Another 3 weeks passed and still no response, I tried calling Elias several occasions but no luck, then I messaged him and when he replied with an attitude and being so rude. I am very unhappy and disappointed with the service I received from BMW Clearwater right after the Sale was concluded. This is NOT how customers should be treated.

To whom it may concern, I own a 2015 BMW 1 series for 2 year + which is still under motorplan. For further reference I ask BMW to check repair history on this car my reg. (FV27ZGGP) my cell 0843784078. To date I have only had bad experiences with this car .I am emotionally drained and financially distressed due to the fact that I have had to drive this car all the way from Vaal(Sebokeng) to Bryanston(JSN) to have it fixed on numerous occasions incurring extra costs, because I had already purchased a bus monthly coupon I use public transport and only drive on Fridays . There has been far too many repairs done on this car, this is so unusual for a brand that claims to be the best/and or a premium brand! To date these are the issues I have faced. - The right rear door made an unpleasant sound didn’t open not so long after purchasing the car . This got fixed on more than 1 occasion and still be faulty! eventually JSN fixed it . - I have had more than 3 drive train/misfire errors ,which were fixed by 2 different dealerships JSN/Sovereign and to date I have experienced another misfire .. - I have had BMW on call tow my car for a misfire/drivetrain issue and an existing right rear door error whom I asked that they need to fix as well , upon getting my car back a usb was stolen and my car had scarf marks and the right front door couldn’t open from the outside !..another inconvenience I had to resend the car now for the right front door was not faulty to be fixed . - I have had timing belt/ engine (rattling sound from the engine) repairs which costed about 60k+ and upon follow up repairs another 6k+ repairs had to be carried out to solve the problem completely thankfully motorplan paid . - Week(s) after the major engine repairs, I had lights which die now and then just last week tueday (25 June 2019) the light was fixed! fetched my car kudos .I drove home and the following day (26 June 2019) I see there is an oil leak!! which i complained about and dropped of the car the thursday (27 June 2019) cool this was fixed !! . i fetched my car the same day drove home just after the grasmere toll gate i just received a warning light (DRIVE TRAIN) !! The car lost its power I could only drive at speeds of 80 until I reached my destination - Now I am victimised!! .BMW rented me a car externally which I had to pay 1500 for petrol /or a holding value don’t know whatever is !! so now what if I didn’t have 1500 ? so I must still pay for being inconvenienced by a dealer that doesn’t fix all problems on my car at once ?? I brought back the rented car to JSN, no post inspection was done by the rental company!! now am told there is a dent on the back bumper and I am liable to pay !! so they say they saw this dent just after and i quote “re-inspecting the car at OR Tambo” !! . ..who drove the car to OR Tambo ?? Shouldn’t the process be that an inspection must be done before and after dropping off the car with the rental company - which in this case didn’t happen!! so how did the car get to OR Tambo was it flown there ?? surely someone drove it …. I have made a complaint with BMW south africa ref 8101391894 whom just told me to return the misfiring car to JSN and they would contact me back ! to date they haven’t phone me to know what was the outcome . I urge new car buyers never to consider buying a BMW !!. because if i were to show them all the repairs done on this car they would be shocked !.

I bought a car from BMW Used Cars Club Fountains on the 22nd of June 2018. When I collected the car it didn't have a spare key and license disc was expired. Salesman (Phemelo) promised to sort them out the following week. The following week he collected the car on Friday (29th June 2018) and kept the car with him until 6th of July 2018 (The whole week). He sent me an email on the 5th of July 2018 saying that the car is ready for collection, I can come on 6th July 2018. I did collect the as per his request. On Sunday (8th of July 2018) I realized that the license disc is still the old one which expired on the 31-01-2018. That time the permit he gave me on the collection date is expired on the 7th of July 2018 (Risk: Should I get involved in an accident am on my own, insurance will not pay).Okay, On Monday (9th of July 2018) I called his Manager explaining the siuation and she came back to me saying that Phemelo the Salesman says that he's got the license disc with him, he will deliver to it to me in the next 3 hours. Guess what? The guy delivered the Permit, really? Didn't he say that he's got the disc with him?Okay I took the Permit. Fine....Come after work on the same day (9th of July 2018). I start the car on the parking lot and I try to push reverse and nothing happens (it was like all the gears locked). I tried for almost 45 Minutes. I called his Manager again she promised to phone me back and she never did. Eventually the gears worked after 45 minutes. I phoned Phemelo again and he promised to come collect the car on the 10th of July 2018. During that period he had the car for the whole week I asked him about the service book, he said it's with him and it's updated, I even asked if the car went for 45000km and he said YES. I phoned KIA to enquire about the service history of the car and they (KIA) told me the last service on their system was at 26000 KM which makes sense now that I had issues with clutch today (9th July 2018). Clearly the car was not going through a proper service at KIA. If it went for proper service obviously I was not going to have issues with clutch at all. It's the third time experiencing clutch issue. The first and second time I didn't really take it serious but now I see that I will have serious issues with clutch kit probably after few months or so. It's not even a month with the car and I already encountered issues, will I survive with the car for the next 6 years? Well I doubt because BMW sold me a car that got issues already. When I bought the car from BMW I thought I will have a peace of mind as it's a well known and reputable dealership. Well it doesn't seem so. Guys please be careful when you buy a used car from BMW Club Fountains, once the bank make a payment then YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN.

<p>Extremely disappointed in BMW. After driving 4 BMW's in the past 5 years I will never buy a BMW again after this. </p> <p> </p> <p>List of issues on BMW F20 118i Urban 2012 150 000km</p> <p>- Trim on seats came off at 105 000km</p> <p>- Silver trim on aircon vents are peeling off at 108 000km</p> <p>- Side Mirror indicator stopped working at 105 000km</p> <p>- Coils had to be replaced at 108 000km after car went into limb mode on the High way</p> <p>- Multiple water leaks resulted in water pipes that had to be replaced at 132 000km</p> <p>- Turbo Leak, seals need to be replaced but not guaranteed to work at 136 000km</p> <p> </p> <p>Do not even try and contact BMW because they will just tell you that your car is out of it's warranty plan and it's no longer their problem. </p> <p> </p> <p>Where are the days when a BMW was able to do 200 000km without any issues. <p>From day one it is lies, does not comply with the CPA, try and milk the most out of any deal and make you feel like they are doing you favours. I Purchased a bmw and from day one he lies, I asked them if there are any comments on the vehicle and they said no only to find out 4 months later that there is comments. Now the method they use to assist you is threathing and seeking the best possible way for them to get a deal where the dealership themselves win. </p>

<p>I recently was interested in the BMW 1 series M sport at prime -5% special over the weekend on the 25th of February 2017. The adverti*****t, of which i have proof states the following Cash Price R449000 installment Prime -5% R8050pm for 48 months. I started the process to get finance, which got approved to find out that BMW cant give me the special. if i wanted the Special i would need to buy the car at R100000 more!! This is False and Misleading Advertising and I am going to take this up with ASASA, as nowhere does it state that the Car has to be bought at the full Price.</p> <p> </p> <p>when i found that out i decided to not make it public and send a message on FB, i thought I was getting somewhere until this morning where i got an arrogant reply. This is Unacceptable and this deal has to be honored, is this a ploy so you guys can get feet into your dealerships?? </p>

<p>Went for a meeting today to BMW Alberante dealer principle to discuss why they had installed tyres that are not recomended by BMW on my car (the meeting was set up by BMW South Africa). The Dealer Principle was late for meeting; assumed the incorrect meeting time; and said he didnt know why we called the meeting. BMW South Africa say BMW Alberante called the meeting. In any case; i had to take half day off from work; and my wife had to leave our 18month old baby; for a meeting that BMW deny they called the customer to..</p> <p>The point: i bought a car from one of the biggest BMW dealerships in the country; and they provide parts for the car that are not BMW recommended; and even further; that may nulify my BMW motorplan.. and they cannot even meet with me on time to discuss this. And i thought i could trust the BMW name on anything car/safety related.</p> <p> </p> <p>BMW Alberante response to my wife and I during meeting:</p> <p>"i should have asked if it was an approved car with approved parts...." (hec. i am buying from one of the largest BMW dealerships in the country... it does carry the BMW name on it after all.. who would expect non recomended parts on a BMW from a BMW dealership whilst the car is on Motorplan??????) BMW SA say it BMW Alberante issue; and BMW Alberante say its within their right t supply cars in whatever state. if i buy it; i but it.</p> <p> </p> <p>To add to this: 9 trips to BMW Alberante/Bedfordview for motorplan related repairs since buying the car from BMW Alberante in last 12 months.</p> <p> </p> <p>-33 thousand kilometers in SA fuel & driving conditions without an oil change.. they say the computer will let me know ;-)</p> <p>oh... BMW insurance charged me for for approved tyres on insurance each month; but i was driving unapproved tyres. and if they caused and error with anything else on the car; i was not covered on motorplan... and yet they sold me a car on motorplan</p> <p>-over 50km of business driving for testing this car in repairs. they say its normal.</p> <p>-the car was available to see at the BMW Aberante main building... a place where there are no other non-approved cars</p> <p>-damage to control arm picked up a few months after purchase... they say its my fault. i ask for 6month old tyre alignment data. they cannot provide; and send me 3 year old data instead. I ask why? they say the old data was done at BMW; and the new data was done somewhere else; so they dont have the data... its within their rights to send the car anywhere for wheel alignment. BMW Bedfordview conflict with this and say a X6M is a heavy car and needs specialized equipment for proper alignment. who do i beleive</p> <p> </p> <p>is this fair to the consumer? Should i take this further; or am i being rediculous...</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
