Bothasig Clinic terrible srevice to the community
This was my third and last time I will go there. You are treated with disrespect from mist of the staff. Why give a person an appointment if you cant stick to the times given. When asking the dr how far behind he is with his appointments he tells you thst there are no appointments. Elderlt people sitting there from 7:30 and stll haven seen a dr at 12pm. When I approached one of the nurses to find out what was going on. She informed me that it doesnt matter if you have an appointment it doesn't mean the dr will see you at thst time you must just dit and wait. If you dont want to waut then go somewhere else. You have no privacy when in with the dr as the dtaff just walk in to chat to with the dr. The service is really bad there. This clinic really has to jack up their service and attitude.

BOTHASIG CLINIC
As a new comer to the local clinic, I was extremely apprehensive. I found the counter staff to be very kind, courteous and helpful. The only draw back was the administrative handling of the consults. They tend to over book resulting in long waits. The pharmacy could have two dispensing counters rather than one which would reduce the queue. Too many employees walking up and down with files in their hands. Once one gets past the queues, the service is excellent. The medical staff are all knowledgable and kind. The optometry section could be two people instead of an eye tested completed in two parts. The space is available. The telephone line is a permanent nightmare and requires one dedicated person to answer calls and take messages. Hopefully this review will be seen as positive and constructive criticism which is what it is intended to be. It would be helpful to have a welcome letter with ones card which lists the standard operating procedures to ensure a smooth operation.

Bothasig Clinic Catch a Wakeup
Worst, unprofessional blaaze attitude is ridiculous. I was invited to my friends birthday at the mall here in Bothasig. My handbag got stolen together with my glasses in them. It has been more that 3 years since I got my eyes tested again so I went to Bothasig clinic and the optometrist was there but the lady at the info desk (black lady with braided hair) told me they can't help me and I must come back this week to check when they will be available. My script is -4 on both my eyes, so you can understand I am blind without them. I told the lady that I need them urgently because the contact lenses I have are very old, but that didn't seem to bother her. I again came from the clinic with no joy. I mean it's my sight for crying in a bucket. Why couldn't they squeeze me in when the optometrist was there? I don't understand. I suppose for someone that can't comprehend how it feels to not be able to see anything besides shadow like images, they will never understand. I need someone to please get back to me. I don't know what to do anymore.

Corrupt!
The f*cking worst. So slow. Not accountable to anyone so they take their time when they want to where they want to. Always shouting from the one end to the other over patients heads. Arrogant and disrespectful. They don’t start on time instead of 7 they only start around 8:30 and try and do nothing 1/2 hours before closing. THEY ARE CORRUPT.

Bothasig Day Clinic
I recently fell ill and urgently needed a Covid test. I ran out of medical aid funds and didn't have the money for a test at a private facility. I went to Bothasig Day Clinic an received amazing service. Note this was the 2nd time I used this facility for a test and have never been disappointed. They get alot of flack on social media but I have referred two other people and they share my sentiments. Great patient service, sympathetic, quick, easy , no fuss process. Not all public facilities should be slated. They are a win #WIN.

Bothasig Day Clinic

I went to Bothasig Day Clinic an received amazing service. Note this was the 2nd time I used this facility for a test and have never been disappointed. They get alot of flack on social media but I have referred two other people and they share my sentiments. Great patient service, sympathetic, quick, easy , no fuss process. Not all public facilities should be slated. They are a win #WIN.

Bothasig Clinic 5 STARS
I do reviews often and unless the services are out of this world I will never give 5 stars, but today I give Bothasig Clinic 5 Stars. My parents are 70 and 75, no medical aid, government pension - so like thousands of other South Africans out there having to turn to Government Medical facilities for assistance and we all know how that goes. But my perception of this facility was impressive. There were 2 tents sent up for COVID19 cases, following all the requirements by law, and the heaters to keep patients warm while waiting to be seen. My dad was taking my mom to the clinic, as her health had taken a serious nosedive. Her blood pressure was 200 over (on the verge of having a stroke) and dangerously low iron. The doctor put her on a drip, phoned Karl Bremer to confirm a bed and the ambulance to get her there. While my dad was waiting for my mom, the doctor came out to my dad and asked him about the lump he had on his forehead. He then took a picture and sent it through to a specialist at Karl Bremer who responded immediately with advice. The doctor at the clinic removed the lump and sent it for testing. A week later, he has received his results. My mom has to go back to the clinic for injection and through this, she found out they collect knitted goods for new babies, prem babies etc. My mom just spent the last 4 months knitting just these things so she will be donating these to them on Friday. To the doctor who handled mom my mom's case and then went out of his way to help my dad and the nurses who assisted. You facility, your staff and clean facilities goes above and beyond what is expected from a facility like yours and for that I congratulate you. To anyone in the Bothasig area, looking for good medical assistance, in a great environment - the Bothasig clinic is the place for you. You get 5 stars Bothasig Clinic - you are setting the standards for other clinics to follow.
