We paid a deposit for a dress, two days back. We went back today to request to cancel. We were notified upon our first visit that they have 6 brides fitting today. We requested our deposit back, should they get a new buyer. The owner just refused. This is dishonest business practice, receiving a deposit from more than one bride for the same dress.

In August 2021 I purchased my dress from Bridal Wardrobe. I was told my dress would be ready at the end of January 2022. When I phoned to book my fitting at the end of Jan I was told that “They are not sure where my dress is” and they would phone me back. After a few days I was informed that my dress would only be arriving at the end of March. Then the dates kept on changing and it was only to arrive a few days before my wedding. On their website it states that you need 4 months for a new dress to arrive and the time I waited was more than 4 months. I was then informed that my dress would arrive on the 18th of March. Once again it didn’t arrive on that date and their management team was the least bit concerned or sympathetic. I cried on the phone to them on numerous occasions and the reason I was given that my dress was delayed was “You are not the only bride getting married right now” When my dress finally arrived in South Africa, I went to my fitting and the apology that I received was a “sorry for the delay.” There was no sympathy or anything to make up for their poor service or lack there of. This is not the service I expected to receive from a well known Bridal Boutique and from a purchase over R30k To future brides, do your research, just because they are well known doesn’t mean they will give you a decent service. And if their Facebook reviews have been turned off there is probably a very good reason for it. To Valery and Dylan, I hope you don’t treat all brides the way you treated me. I cried on the phone to you both many a times and you didn’t care at all. You took what was suppose to be a special time for me away and turned it into a nightmare.

Still no response after spending thousands of rands on wedding dress. After paying R2000 for alterations-to Monique and asking assistance from Lieria the owner NOT HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF THE DRESS. Straps came loose and dress not looking as promised during wedding’s photo shoot

Just some friendly advice for brides to be. Bridal warehouse seems to be on your side when purchasing your one and only piece of bridal wear. Yes your wedding dress asking Monique to alter it… the only one to alter your dress. Yes be careful so Lieria the owner is not helpful to solve the issues. Please spare yourself some serious hardship, pain and frustration. They are useless. Apparantly the owner is residing somewhere in the US according to Dylan the Manager or whoever else the owner is. This is after we bought the most expensive dress as they claimed from Italy. What a joke??? my wife was embarrassed after the dress was falling off and straps broken just after 20 minutes wearing it. What a shame? This is after my wife told Monique the dress’ alterations at not up to standard. Lieria the chief in charge just moving the goal posts. Please future brides be careful the only want to take your money!!! Friendly advice. Don’t get burned as what we did. Best Derek +27738159859 0738158759

JHB@bridalwardrobe.co.za This place does not even deserve a 1 star, I had the worst THE WORST experience, I would not recommend this place to any body!! Complete utter **** quality, **** customer service, just ****, I bought 3 brides maid dresses in November black Friday weekend 2020,was promised 6-8weeks, it was 15 weeks later, keep in mind my wedding is on the 21 March 2021, a week before the wedding. With every phone call it was no it will be ready on Wednesday no straight up answers, then I get no it will be ready a week before your wedding, then I get Wednesday, event I get my fiance involved in hopes that they would budge, eventually we get come Sunday the 14th of March at 13:00, the dresses will be ready, complete **** was delivered, the tops were made that morning, there were blue koki marks on the tops for markings where to sew, tops measurements were taken in November 2020, non of the tops fitted, they sewed it scew, disgusting "bridal boutique level" ****, needless to say I took the dresses to a lady who will alter them and I will send them the bill and I will take the dresses for dry cleaning and I will send them my bill, Do not brides to be use this boutique you will be stressed out you will get poor quality and you will be disappointed. and the reason for this is short staffed and of course covid. This place should go on carte Blanche with that other shody "bridal boutique"

I bought a wedding dress at bridal wardrobe Lynnwood , Pretoria And the day of my wedding i saw rust stains on my dress very clearly and then when i took it back for cleaning i told them about it! They responded that they will talk to the managers and come back to me! So almost two months after my wedding they responded and only said sorry but i signed and agreed to any damages although they did not disclaim anything but knew about it! My dress was R24000 Now i cannot sell my dress and they only cover the cleaning of R950
